The DVD won't be released in the USA or Canada until early next year, but the foreign markets may be sooner. HBO will show "Imprint" in Eastern European markets this fall and more markets are buying it at the Cannes film market.

LOL - yes, that´s what I thought too, but I doubt that Germany will be one of the foreign markets ... I think it will be Skandinavia, Holland and France ... and as mentioned the Eastern European countries ...

Hello Everyone!
Anne is correct, Imprint will not be released until next year but will be shown in Europe this Fall.

Michael Linn, the director of Imprint has been kind to post on the board and keep us updated on its release status and film premieres throughout the U.S. He also was so very generous in sending DVD's of Imprint to several of us. I have seen Imprint and it is brilliant!
If you like, I can check with Michael to see which countries will be showing Imprint.
Anne, you have a wonderful board here showcasing indigenous talent overseas - there should be more boards like ours!

Hey bronzie! I am so glad to see you supporting this board too...our indigenous actors and artists need it.
You will love Imprint once you see it - Michael swore us under oath not to copy or bootleg our DVD's.
I did ask Michael during our chat what countries Imprint will be showing this Fall on HBO - he said Poland, Czech and most of Eastern Europe. He also said they just sold the rights to Africa for showing.
Eventually it will come to the U.S. - and waiting is hard I know!

I´m in close contact with Michael Linn. Met him at the AIFF in Frisco last November.
The Indianer Inuit Film Festival in Germany has a big interest in "Imprint" and so we are working on bringing Imprint over to Germany right now ...

I'm sure Michael will do everything in his power to get Imprint shown at the film festival there. As you know, he is a very open and honest guy with a true passion for his work.
Right now, Michael and Chris are at the Talking Stick Film Festival and he is trying to arrange a chat on my board with both of them and Tokala Clifford. If he can schedule it, I will let you know.

I was lucky to spend some time together with Michael (and the others) and we got to talk about business and also some private stuff ... so I know that he really has a true passion for his work !!! We had lots of fun and he is grateful for my support. Last year I also created a German website for Imprint ... so some people are already very curious about the movie!
I´ve been writing with Michael just the other day and I´m sure that we will make it happen to screen Imprint in Germany!
