    Two unknown parts
After a long break we visited the crashsite again (see this topic). This time we found a lot of small parts of aluminium and metal. After cleaning some parts we found some numbers.

    Part 1:

    With the number "30183" (inkt)

    Part 2:

With a few stamps, a rond inspection stamp "FL 152", an oval inspection stamp "FL 229", a letter "D" above the code "BW5"

Can anybody help us out? Because we still don't know for sure what kind of aircraft we've found...

    Thanks Nils!

The only Wellington that crashed nearby is this one, but that's about 4km away from the crashsite we found.

That Wellington is hit by flak. Is it possible that parts of that Wellington fell down on our place and the rest 4km further?

Its possible that the aircraft lost a wing or an other larger part short before the crash. Its also possible that an other aircraft lost a larger part and returned to the the airfield...

We going to search again next sunday (if it's not raining). This time also with the deepseeker. Hopefully we will find some bigger parts this time!
