I have the CD with the videos for Something Got Me Started/A Song For You. I like both of the videos, a return to the style of the promo vids of the early days. Fortunately, not a swimming pool and and high heel/swim wear wearing young woman in sight!!!

Haven't had the chance to see this videos. So is it worth it to get the single (just because of the videos?)? Or will we get them sooner or later on DVD anyway?

I just got the single for the vids...I don't know that they'll turn up elsewhere 'cause I think this is the last release in the Simplified/Cuba cycle. Everything from here on in will probably be Amplified stuff. Just a guess though...

A Song For You...mostly Mick driving 'round in an old car singing the song, with some clips of the shows and the locals blended in with camera effects.
Little footage of the band in the first; virtually NONE in the second. I'd gotten my hopes up after seeing 'Perfect Love', thinking we'd see a return to the days where the band were actually a part of the videos...guess I jumped the gun.
The vids were tastefully done, as Redlollipop pointed out...just not quite what I'd hoped for. Ah well. *sigh*

Now I have heard this, I might just go and purchase the singles.

Wasn't me, Pat. :D Would have been nice to say it was, but I was either buried in academia or here procrastinating from it. :P
Both videos are on CD2--CD 1 is just audio tracks. So you only need to buy 1 single. Got mine from the SR shop for 5 pound 49 including airmail shipping. :top

Well, the disclaimer on the back says it will play on "most PC & Mac computers with a suitable CD Rom drive"...LizSki couldn't get her copy of "Perfect Love" to work, but I suspect slow processor in her case...a couple of other people have had problems as well, and I think in those cases it was computer settings interfering that I didn't know how to fix.
I have a Dell Dimension 8100 desktop with a Pentium 4, 128 MB RAM, most media players already installed...I throw it in, it pulls up the menu screen automatically, all I do is hit "Play" and "Full Screen" and it does the rest.
What sort of system do you have?
