hey, just want to let you know, that I have problems with my computer ... it´s getting too hot way too fast and so it shuts down by itself after a few minutes ... I´m trying to get a new one as soon as possible ... so don´t wait for me ... I can check on messages sometimes, but don´t have enough time to answer and post, cause the computer won´t let me ... just wanted to let you know ... plus things are pretty wild at work right now and everybody is going crazy. They are giving me a hard time with extra hours and stuff ... so I´m totally worn out and hope that I will make it through the next two weeks ... I would love to come here more often, but I guess that won´t be too soon ... I hope you guys do understand - thank you!

Sure we understand. Don't worry about us. Take the time you need to "live" with your reality right now, instead worrying about the virtual world. We're all gron up (at least officially :roll: ) and can look after ourselfs for a while untill you will have enough time for us again. :wink:

Maybe you should try a new cooler first.
We had the same problem with the computer a couple of years ago.

No problem, mine is getting hot and freezing too. I called staples and even ran it by there but they can't find anything and said they could ship it off but it might be two weeks before I get it back - so I decided to just keep it and if it gets any worse then I'll send it off because it's new and under warranty...but then i'd be without it for several weeks here at home....always something with the systems.
I also know what you are going through with the craziness at work. The semester may be winding down for me but the JCP thing is picking up. I put in almost 50 hours these last two weeks and this week along I have like 30 hours and next week 27 so I don't get to get on much either and I hope everyone will bear with me while I go through this crazy time.

This doesn´t work with notebooks !!!
I won´t get a new computer too soon ... they don´t sell any in the company right now and a new one is too expensive at the moment. So I´m using my daughters computer ones in a while and check on the messages. But I can´t work on my pictures and put them up as promised, cause they are saved on my computer ...
I have to work that much, because my contract will end soon and I can´t make any more missing hours ... plus everybody knows that we are waiting for them to tell us who can stay and who has to leave, so they are treating us kind of bad right now ... and we have to stay nice and friendly ( :evil: ) if we want to keep the job ... it´s mean, but that´s the way it is

Yes it sure does - I went for over a year without one at home and mine locked up again the other night and also last time it was making weird noises so I'll probably have to take it in and let them keep it for a couple of weeks. :cry:
Also with my schedule - I'm not going to have much time to be on-line till Christmas break when we're off (I'll be off from U of L from the 21st of Dec to January 7th) however my part-time job will keep me busy until Christmas Eve. Sales are so so but not like last year - none of us will hit our sales goal for 2007 but it can't be helped. With gas and groceries being what they are - the basics are needed more than a piece of jewerly.
If you don't hear much from me it's because of no time. I'm probably going to be on-line more at work than at home. Because I've so much to do with baking and getting ready for the holiday season - too being exhausted from both jobs....but it's like this every year.
But I'm hanging in there.

Yeah, we've all been there.
We'll be patient to wait to hear all the stories and gossips and reviews (dying to know what you ladies thought of Imprint) until you've got the time and the computer doesn't die on you.

I am missing you all :( but do understand. Seems like forever since I've been on here. Things are slowing down at UofL so I probably will have more time to get on the board from here than from home.
My computer is still giving me fits and I am really hating to loose it for a few weeks but may have no choice.

we miss you too. We all have a lot to do - but at least we know that. if we look at the sky, it is the same sky you all look at^^ ok, thsat's a bit cheesy, but i hope you know what i mean^^.
Seems we all have computerproblems - yesterday my computer didn't find the server, but my brother some how safed the day^^.

I get what you mean Liadan - the holidays are always busy and those in school are finishing up their exams and trying to get ready to go home. From yesterday through the 21st I'll have over 56 hours in at JCP. I'm seriously thinking about leaving after the first of the year. I also tripped over Cheddar last night and my left foot hit my bed frame. Needless to say I cried it hurt so bad. My toes are smashed and black and blue - I may go to the doctor tomorrow or sometime soon if they don't get to feeling any better - just to make sure nothing is broken.
It's been raining here since Saturday early - off and on. Beginning to feel like a duck.
