[Dev]Acekilla shares some more detailed information about the upcomming version 2.6 Link-Up with us. Thank-You bot is for [Dev]Acekilla and all other Dev's who are working hard to get this wonderful patch to us as soon as possible.
Features:
* 2 new non-SF maps, Border and Dusk. (Dusk is a VIP mission, first since SF Hospital.)
* New AA Master Browser System with all new server filtering options.
* GameSpy is still supported in v2.6.
* Lots of bug fixes, level fixes, exploits squashed, etc.
Link-Up
The name Link-Up is comming from the new implemented AA Master Browser System with all new server filtering options.
Competitive community
One new server setting should be of interest to the competitive gaming community – we have added a new server option to disable shadows for everyone on the server (exploit fix/workaround). This can also be confirmed via the Tournament Results log for league verification. This is also supported in the v2.6 AASM.
(NOTE: This is an OPTION. To allow clanwars to be more balanced for both teams. This doesn't mean the shadows are always disabled, on public servers for example.)
We don't know anything about the release date yet, so asking for it is of no use. I'd like to ask you all to have a bit of patience. Untill the release you can enjoy the information and screenshots given.
