Right then, I'll start by saying Hi to everyone reading and I'll apologise now if I miss out any vital information, it's been a long while since I've applied to any guild, also, I've read the Sticky but I feel writing an Application like that is a hell of a lot like a list, so I'll attempt to cover every point in my ramblings,
My Character name (as everyones probably guessed is Tombey, and I'm currently a level 101 Elite Knight. I've got magic level 7 and the most appaulling skills in the world so be prepared to laugh (78 Club, 82 Axe and 84 Shielding). I've been playing Tibia for quite a while now Christmas 2002 was when I first started, But didn't get serious until April 2003. I've lived in many towns throughout Tibia and currently I'm somewhat of a nomad, but frequently in Svargrond, Ankrahmun and Thais.
Right now for my former guilds, I'll list them all as there have been relativley few, I started out in White Tower with a rl friend of mine, I didn't make many long lasting friends there but one I did make, and that friendship has only improved throughout these years is Pigeh. I then joined minor and unimportant guilds for a while until i found my first home in Guardians of Honour, I joined them in around June of 2004, Inevitably I left them to join Devarity in one of the many wars on Eternia (incidently the day I left GoH I took part in the PoH battle where I died, It was after this that I joined the war). My next guild was Shattered Soul's, I was a Vice leader there for quite a while with some old friends of mine, an Egyptian guild called Back-up decided to kill me and start a war, which Shattered Soul won, with the aid of some Ex-GoH members in the form of a new guild called Reconquista, I left Shattered after this time to join a new guild on the circuit "Discipulus" where I stayed until its unfortunate and untimley (in my eyes) disbandment. I am currently a Vice leader of Shattered Soul in an attempt to help their current leaders get the guild active again, however I believe I am perfectly capable of doing that outside of the guild or on a second character.
(Phew, that was a longer section then I first thought it would be)
I currently don't have anyone I consider my personal enemy, although I'm sure a few people consider me theirs, all of my enemies have been dealt with at some point.
I've played quite a few characters on the lands of Eternia, I won't list them here, but I will list 2, Dicodeco (Which is now played by my best friend irl, <felt sorry for him when he lost his chars>), And this one, Tombey.
Now for the question that I feel is most relevant to an application, the one I would most like to see answered if I was voting on an application, Why would I like to join Reign of Darkness, Hmm, Well I guess the most important reason for me was that in the old days it was one of my goals to do just that and become worthy enough to join such a guild, (I even applied to Followers of Darkness at around level 38, upon Pigeh's reccomendation, I didn't find out until later that he only suggested it because he thought it would be amusing to "fuck with Tiwito" on the boards, lol. Another reason for wanting to join RoD is that I've got a few friends here and see potential for more.
If I were to get accepted into the guild I'm honestly not sure what I could contribute to the guild apart from undying loyalty (blah I hear that on every application I've ever read, It's so Cliche), On the other hand sometimes I do have a decent sense of humour and I think I'm a decent guy to coverse with, although maybe some people will argue both points <glares at Maxitez, daring him to disagree>.
Right then now for a friendship list, I'm sure I'll miss someone out so if anyone see's this list and feel's left out, I'm sure I love you but it's 4 AM, I'm allowed to forget someone!
I've got about 7 rl friends who I met outside of the game who play Tibia but only 2 of them are level 30+ so I won't bother boring you with them.
Some RL friends who I did meet through Tibia are Beachy and Sefafu.
Some friends I have Inside of RoD are; Pigeh, Wandroi, Bimsen, Maxitez, Grev Even, I've met and spoken to some of the other members ingame and been in guilds with a few of you but those are the closest friends I have here.
Outside of them is the rather large list; Dagoth Mckeening, Necro Ex Mortis, Luna Nova, Mekila, Jill Welentime, Cameron Everly, (every single member of Discipulus who became more like brothers then guild mates), Effancy (gone but not forgotton), Beebee Queue, Lord Grem, And I'll just save time and write - Many many more.
Right then some rl information to finish with (yes I'm nearly finished!)
My Rl name is Zak and I'm 20 years old I live in England (Walsall, near Birmingham to be exact), and I currently work in the food industry, although I'm currently looking for a career elsewhere. In my spare time (between 50 hour working weeks and Tibia) I enjoy socialising with friends, whether thats going round to someones house for a poker evening, chilling to some music or drinking and dancing all night It's all good. Sorry if theres any hiphop boys here (looks at Pigeh again) but I love my rock music, My favourite bands of the moment are Moneen and Alexis on Fire - Although atm I currently listen to a lot of Serj Tankian (formerly of System of a Down). What else, hmm, Well I enjoy being with my new Girlfriend, and although I never look for trouble I do find a good punch up entertaining (typical Englishman).
Well that's me finished - Maybe I could write a damn book based upon this application, Sorry if I bored you, But I think I covered every point thats Important, and probably many that are completley irrelevant.
