Hello gents,
two weeks ago i´ve found a crashsite from a RAF or usaaf-airplane in a forest near the village Niederelben/Much ( germany).
many duralparts found, also bakelite, plexi and other parts.
following numbers found on some parts:
dural with green colour:88 174 (R3 138), 88D..O , 32 D 32 (14)?
dural: 63 1370 R 199 6 and R3 12F, oval stamp: M and 147
bakelite. 54A Q 853 and 54 B Q 853 , ..3V 206
red bakelite: 10B / 11041
plexiglas: 7/4 round stamp= PI 315
messing with AMR 3 AGS
bakelite: 5 Q 836
some munition, ca. 7,7mm, 1942 GV
who can identify the type of this airplane?
every informations are welcome....
here some pics from parts
(could this be parts from a Vultee / T-6 ) ??

Avro Lancaster (or Manchester), there were a lot more Lancaster losses than Manchesters so odd are it is from all from a Lancaster.
The R3 stamp is the stamp for the Avro plant at Woodford, Cheshire.
Are you certain about the GV for the ammunition? GV isn't in the list I've got for 0.303", but G IV is in there for Mark IV Tracer.

found more wreckparts this weekend, dural with 88....
,bakelite with crown AM 5c/432 and many more parts.
crashsite is at village" Niederelben! ,some kilometers from Much/ germany.
no information about this plane: number, squadron , reason of crash, date of crash....?
any informations are welcome

Ref.-No. 5c/432 is a Block Terminal Type B 3 Way (Dimension 2 3/8 inch x 1 inch)

The round red part on picture 1 is from RR Merlin ignition.
