She sees him when she went aboard on that one vessel, Bluewing (NS, Ch14)
As far as I'm concerned, he did not appear later again...
Or do you think he will play a part in the other prequels?

Oh mother heifer....now I'm gonna have to read it again and find him....which is crazy, since I've read that book so many times....well, more parts than others..heh.

Hmm....at first I thought that perhaps he was a Forsaken, but then....I don't think any of them were free at this point in time. Furthermore, why would one of them be after Moiraine? She was just newly raised and so pretty much a no name at this time.
So. I'm totally at a lost. Perhaps it was just a random man who was to assinate her so she wouldn't reach the Sun Throne. And perhaps still, RJ simply forgot about him?
Lol....I think I'm all out of theories...

Yeah....then I guess it's reasonable to assume he was merely forgotten. Or maybe he just added him in there to make us all freak out about him and carry on long conversations about him, when that was his only real purpose?
Whoa....yeah. That makes sense in my head...

saved? why saved? *loves long convos* well maybe he was sent by some of the sitters to follow her since they want her to take over house damodred...and kinda off topic, but have you ever wondered exactly how closely moiraine and galad are related?

Galad's father - Taringail Damodred - was her half-brother ^^
So I'd say she is also about Gawyn and Elayne's aunt :P
