I went with Nas. I think some of these guys shouldnt even be on this list. Especially Mega & Prodigy. These are 2 of my personal favorite MC's but their places in the history of hip hop are very small, especially Mega. I think the real answer is between Jay & Nas, and I think an argument can be made for KRS and Kool G. Rap as well, although they have become less relevant in their later years. 50 may end up having the biggest impact out of all of them which is why he should be on this list but I think he is ruining hip-hop and he is not as skilled a rapper as the others. WHY ISNT RAKIM ON THIS LIST he would be my 3rd choice after Nas & Jay, although he too has become less relevant like KRS.

once again...nothing more to add...krs-1 doesn't got lots of new things lately, but if he would, he would be my nr.1.
Rakim, not on the list...Pharoahe Monch, not on the list...Ghostface Killah, not on the list...
Jay-Z is my number one on the list. Second ends Nas.

I stand by what I said, but I almost forgot about Kool G. Rap's new mixtape, whcih is fire...probably my favorite mixtape of the year so far. So he isnt quite out of it yet.
