RAF or USAF fighter Crni Lug, Croatia
    oi!

Few parts from, like i sad RAF or USAF fighter that crashed in the Fall of 1944 on one field near village Crni Lug, north from Rijeka. I think that pilot was RTD.

Parts that are our friend J.Klobucar found before 2 years. On orange part are next numbers: 48
    M
    20051

It looks like yopu might have found a P-38.

The (R92) is a Lockheed inspection stamp. 190020 is a P-38 part number. It is #11 in this picture, hard to tell if it is the same thing:

I did not see 57538-2 in the parts manual, but 57598-2 is listed. Again hard to tell if it is the same part:

    oi!
    Thanks Craig.
I think it is P-38 because there were only one P-38 that crashed in this area.

    28.3.1944; P-38 H-5-LO; 42-67093; 154 TRG; 1/Lt. Dolphon C. Kenney; RTD

This two parts are very similar and they are heavy, I think from lead.

    Hi Raus,

the two part of lead looks like as to weights, maybe from the controls.
On interest is the round stamp. This stamp was used by Lockheed inspectors for P-38 Lightnings ;)
