Gentlemen, I recently stumbled across a part of rusty metal in a nearly impassable timbered valley. I believe it has something to do with an aircraft. It’s difficult to get there and there is no way that a car or tractor can come along. Maybe it was dropped from the air or is part of a crash?
The part consits of ferrous sheet metal. There are some little remains of green and white paintings on one side. Size is hard to estimate and approximatle 2 x 0.5 meters. Two details are maybe important for it’s identification.
First there is a filter with a closed filler cap with an Allen Key (German word: Inbus) with a shape like a square. And second a tiny outlet fixed with a nut. The nut has the number “44B13847” on it an probably is the best chance to identify the whole remains. Thanks alot for your interest and help in identification! Cheers, Kurtl
