And yes; I'm changed. Very much so, people tell me, and I agree: If I were to meet the "me" from six months ago (when I was admitted) we would probably not have that much to talk about, and would probably both look for the first chance to excuse ourselves and leave.
I'm still bi-polar, of course, but having lived with that for half a century, I s'pose I can manage a couple of decades more :-)
(Besides, the bi-polar thing isn't all bad: I wouldn't like to be without the peaks, when the creativity flows and I get things going. I'll check out litium and the newer stabilizing drugs, but if they turn out to be creativitykillers, I probably will be better off without them).
Right now my immediate plans involves copious amounts of the finest cider from the western part of the country... :D

About lithium, from accounts I've heard it's a zombie drug. The newer stabilizers are better.

I have a friend that went thru alot of theropy for this. She lost her kids and is now forming a new relationship with them.
Everyone gets better with time!!!
