Come to think of it, the endorphine produced in the brain during sex is a morphine identical substance, so I can't see how it could not be a painkiller! The amount of endorphine released depends on the level of exitement and whwthwr or not you orgasm, however, so having sex just to "fuck the pain away" if you don't feel like it probably won't work.

Though I will say I find orgasms to be good for period pain. And if you can manage it in a nice worm shower, you can minimize the mess, and get the double bonus of warm water, which also works hella good on period pain.
