I'm off to the Land of Engers in July to see Rammstein again. They're playing in the NEC in Birmingham, saw them in Manchester last Feb. Have to say - Best gig ever!
I'll be in Germany in September for a wedding so I'm hoping to catch a gig while I'm there too.

Rammstein... You lucky bitch! I missed them in Oslo; I was broke, as I usually am when something interesting happen. Which is also why I don't see any upcoming events on the horizon... :-/

Story of the Year, which really aren't that exciting, I saw Greenday last week, and BrightEyes/The Faint earlier in that week and Slipknot 2 weeks before that.. I was planning to go to The Killers on the 27th but they pushed their date for Omaha back into August :x

Rammstein our permantely banned from ever performing in Omaha again (or so they say) and I really don't blame my town.. they had an ALL AGES show at the biggest Arena in Nebraska and the drummer shoved a dildo up his ass during the performance.. I mean literally... there was little kids around... But I do like them live...
Goldfinger pulled a similar stunt two years ago but actually convinced someone in the crowd to get on stage and do it witha bananana and than peel it and eat it just to hang out backstage after the show

LOL! The last time Rammstein was i Oslo they had so much pyrotech hardware they could start WWIII, and they came very close to burning the damn place down :-)
Their work is pure genius, but you don't want them to come over to your place after concert :-D

Another completely destructive group is Slipknot... I took part in my very first riot April 29th, and thats only because I stood too close to see what was going on.. I've never in my life seen people literally trample officers.. the closed int he gate and people started pounding through it!
It was madness, the finally called in for back up and started macing people.. I personally got maced in the back for trying to help up this girl who was getting her face stepped on.. I read in the newspaper the eventually h ad to taze (sp) two people..

Last summer, one of Norway's most popular bands, The Cumshots, had a consert at the outdoor Quart Ferstival in Kristiansand, and they ended up doing this in front of some tens of thousands of people:

18. I'm not really that much of a fan of any particular band to go see them though, I rarely like all the songs a band brings out, I wouldnt like to pay all that money for a concert and then only hear one good song.
That and the fact that I'm not really fond of being surrounded by thousands of people.

Friday night was Rammstein, it was the best ever. I enjoyed myself more than I did when I went to see them in Manchester. There was no support band, a bonus. My neck is still stiff from all the dancing I did.
