I'm more of a PC person, never could get into consoles. My husband swears by PS2.

I'm not really into consoles: While the graphics are often superior to the PC versions, the games tend to lack any depth. I'm more into the SimEarth/SimLife spreadsheet type of games. And flight sims that come with three manuals and a 160-page ringbound volume labeled "Quickstart" :-D

I have to admit the Sims got boring after a few weeks, but the Sims 2 is much better (if it wasn't for the glitches)

Ahhh, the glitches, yet another reason why I don't buy PC games, the first edition of the games are usually full of bugs, whereas consoles usually get tested very very thorougly, and finding the glitches.
Even if I wanted to play Sims 2, I couldnt, my PC has a shitty video card.

That would be a problem, when I got the game first it took about 20 mins to save/load, then I updated the drivers.

Well, my PC is so shitty that even the first Sims gets lag in it. And I can't play it anymore anyway, someone (My mum) threw out the box, so we have no CD key.

Sims 2 is way too engrossing without being particularly fun to play, in my opinion. The only game I'm playing currently is Guild Wars. It's so pretty. :D

Sort of an MMORPG, but it's free to play and has a bit of a different way of dealing with parties and worlds and the like.

I prefer Xbox over all because of the good games, and the fact you don't need memory cards.
And I prefer the Gamecube over the PS2 because Gamecubes arent sell outs, and the majority of the games that come out are high quality games, even the 'kiddy' one.

Well actually no, I will most likely get the PS3 when it comes out.
PS2 has the best title range and system options in my opinion....but i do have a tendency to go for the system that the final fantasy games will be released on....
By far though the best system of all time was the super NES
also i never played the sims, but am a lover of sim city, i play that game for days on end.

I own three sport games in the Xbox, but I play avareity of games, preferably RPG's, but I'm getting slighty bored of turn based RPG's.

Yeah I was playing a really good live action one on my friends games cube, and now i can't think of the name....let me ponder it. but trust me...i love the xbox compared to what i think of the game cube, but the game was sweet

There's a game on the Xbox caled Sudeki, and everyone I've talked to says that is shit, but I have it, and it's really enjoyable, because it's a real time RPG.

No, it was summoner a goddess reborn. I haven't played sudeki. you should check out summoner, its fun.
i can only get shots of sudeki for xbox...and well lets just say that isn't happening

I shall have to look for it, I only got a gamecube on thursday. The next game I'll be getting is pokemon ruby and sapphire, mainly because it comes with a free memory card, and I need one :-P

IIt wasn't sudeki that actually looked pretty interesting, but I won't be getting it for xbox is what i meant. I like to see what games will look like on the platform I'll be playing it on.

As far as I know, Sudeki is only on Xbox.

that's what i was thinking, because i couldn't find any screen shots for it on other platforms or video links.
But then i found a couple of places where they did walk throughs on it for other platforms, and so I was confused.

It plays pretty good, in my opinion. It reminds me of Phantasy Star Online, except, with an actual story, and not just entering world to level up your char.
One thing I didn't like at first, but got used two, was that there's only two attacks, strong and weak, and you can only do three attacks in a row (Unless you find a combo, which are easy :P)
One thing I thought was cool is that not only can you cycle between your party members, but when you're playing as the gun dude or the magic chick, it goes into a FPS mode.
And everyone has their own special attacks which take skill points to use. And blah.
I went off this game for awhile because I thought it had stuffed up, because the curser which tells you where to go was just leading me in circles, but then I figured out I was in the wrong place. Duh, 3 months later :?

I've done that before. I do that a lot if I am replaying a game. I am like I know I have to be here. ANd then all the sudded you are denied entrance, the way back is shot, and you are stuck clutching your sword in the shadow of the castle.
I also always wish that they would make more multi-player rpgs. (Hence my love of secret of manna) It is fun to battle your way through a game, with another real person in your party.

Yeah, Phantasy Star would be better, if it hada decent story.
I think Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals is multiplayer, but I'm not sure.
I know Baldur's Gate: Deadly Alliance was Multiplayer, that was cool.
Fable was supposed to be multiplayer, but that took that function out of the game, which is why it sucks so much arse now.

There were rumors that Final fantasy X was going to be multi player, which got my panties in a bunch, but it obviously isn't
I do so hate when they get you all excited and then it doesn't pan out....don't they know rpgers have fragile emotional states.

I know, and what makes it even worse, is that most multiplaer RPGs are either really crappy, or only multiplayer if you play agasint each other.
