DO you ever have trouble keeping up with all the conversations in your head. It's like you hear snippets of a conversation & want to hear more but they stop talking or move on to another topic. Mostly happens when I'm busy,. working or cycling to work they just jabber away.

The only voice in there is usually my own, but that one goes on and on through all my waking hours. Probably because I think in words.

Most of the time the voice is mine, but sometimes it just jabbers away & has conversations with it's self.

Not really. I mean they are a function of my mind and all, I can shut them off if I think on it. If I get bored I do tend to have hypothetical conversations with people though.
Is that healthy?

Lol, I sometimes carry out arguments in my head, I am a strange person. Ok, here's an example of what might be going on in my head.
Me: Bugger, I shouldn't have done that.
Me: No, you really shouldn't have.
Me: Well I know that, I just said that, you don't have to repeat me.
Me: Well I dunno, maybe I do, maybe you're that stupiud you need me to repeat you.
Me: No, I don't, I really don't
Me: Well you DO need someone to think for you, otherwise you wouldnt be regretting what you've said
Me: No, I don't need someone to think for me, I just need to think before I talk.
Me: That's pretty much what I just said.
Me: Fine, what am I going to do then?
Me: I dunno, you're arguing with yourself again, you won't fix anything doing that.

I only have conversations with my self if i'm going to confront someone.
I try to have the conversation in advance just to see how it might go.
That way if something comes up i will be prepared for a comeback.

The voices in my head write songs which I can later never remember the words to. They are geniuses, I suck.

The voices came to me agaiun this morning :P When I was coming out of the the shower.
Me: Hmm, the bathmat is wet
Me: Yup, and it's cold
Me: Of course its cold, thats what happnes to wet things in cold weather.
Me: Yes, well, maybe it couldve been wet from hot water?
Me: I think hot water would have cooled down after Jak's bath last night.
Me: You never know, it couldve been really hot water
Me: If it was that hot, Jak wouldve been burned, idiot.
Me: And that's a bad thing?
Me: True...

I have a thirty minute walk to work. i talk amoungst myself a lot. I debate what i am doing, deride myself for stupidness, rehearse what i am gonna tell people. I am my own best friend.
