Was anyone else disapointed with this one? I mean, I liked it, butit just didnt feel like Star Wars to me.
Anakin changed sides far too quickly, the jedi got wiped out without a decent fight, well, at least the solo ones did, they didn't show the fighting in the temple, because George Lucas bites arse. Yoda gave up too quickly. They didnt go further intoi the plot point of Qui Gon achieving immortality. They didnt really show Boba Fett following in his fathers footsteps. General Grevious was hardly mentioned in the previous Star Wars, and now all of a sudden he's a major player. Yoda gave up far too quickly. Doesnt explain how Leia came to be a princess.
I still liked it though :-P I know there's more points I didnt like about it, but I forget now, I'll post more when I watch it again.
Oh, and did anyone else laugh when Vader tried to sound caring and emotional?

I still say the Qui-Gon thing was just a quick tip of the hat to the popular gods of Taoism.
And yeah, Lucas is kind of a weenie ever since he got all these new special effects, but at least you get a general idea of how everything came together, which was damn nice.

I think Episode II explained very well how Mr Fett jr. became the person he did... Poor kid :-(

Well it didnt really, I mean, his dad died. Thats all it really shows. And Idon't think the Gui Gon thing was a tipping the hat to toaism, because the spirits where in 4, 5 and 6, and not in 1, 2 and 3, so he had to have some explination. I wouldve liked it better if he had went further with that.

I think I must be the reverse to everyone I've talked about Star Wars with, most people hated episode 1 & 2, and loved episode 3, I loved episode 1 & 2, and was disapointed by episode 3.
And another thing everyone seems to hate, is Jar Jar Binks. Whereas I like him and the gungans.

I liked the gungans as a race... they're city was awesome, but I didn't like Jar Jar. I thought the comic relief he put in there was a bit misplaced, and the manner of speech really got on my nerves.
