You can and you cant, jdpd, you have to buy special PSP DVD's, which cost extra.

Yup, but peopel will buy them, because they are stupid. It would work out cheaper to buy a portable DVD player for about $300, then you won't have to buy a double of a DVD you already have if you want to watch it on the road, nor wil you have to pay extra for a new DVD. Just a another way Sony is ripping off their consumers.

My husband wants one when they come out, for his birthday, which means that I'll buy it for him.
I just thought having a portable DVD player would be handy, but I wouldn't buy a portable DVD player, if you get my drift.

Yeah, I get what you mean, I'm the same, I think they're handy, but I wouldnt buy one either.
PSP's are alright I guess, although, just my pridiction, because they are from Sony, you can pretty much guarantee that there will be a crapload of shitty third party games. Games that no other company would buy. Sony is the whore of the console/handheld industry.
