Is there such a thing as a good horror movie now a days? I use to love watchign them but the garbage they produce know is just...sad.
Does anyone know of any honestly scary movies out?

I don't know of any scary movies because I don't get scared at them.
I thought that movie saw was good.
But I would like to see house of wax.

I've watched tons of "scary" movies, but only a handful have made a lasting impression, and none of them are really new:
- Hitchcock's The Birds
- The Shining (Kubrick's version; King's own TV series sucked big time)
- Ghost ship
- Alien
I find "Ghost Ship" and "Alien" to be more or less identical, though.

Saw was good but it wasn't a horror movie it was more a suspense in my book, if you really liked the movie though you should definately check out the movie "Seven" now that is a good movie.

That being the case I am pleased to inform you that I know an actor from the movie!
Sincerely, the very first victim is "Glutton" the disgustingly fat guy who ate himself to death??
He lives in a small town near my town called "Newhaka" and is nicknamed "tiny" I use to hang out with his son
He actually got the job by visiting the mall one day there was a little stand that said "WANT A CHANCE TO BE IN A MOVIE!" and you had to be extremely overweigh .. you wrote your name and number your height, weight and a picture of yourself and put it in the box.. the guy is so large he has to start his truck standing outside of it because he cant reach the igntion sitting down..

Yeah , I know this 400 pound guy who got a 30 second part in a movie where he plays the the epitomy of disgust and sin.. AND he's already dead.. he just lays there naked with his face in a bowl of spaghetti..
we are like movie stars for that 8)

I havnt seen any scary movies ever, I dont think. Not as in, I have never seen any horror genre movies, I just havnt seen any that have scared me.

The remake of The Dawn of the Dead lacks the claustrophobia making the original so scary. The old Commodore 64 game version was more scary.
