I saw something like 2 weeks ago. I don't know what it was hence UFO.
It did dart across the night sky super fast. The damn thing made no noise
it scared the crap out of me. :shock:

I've seen several Unidentified Flying Objects, but I don't think I've ever seen an alien spaceship.

Ive seen a big blue thing shoot through the sky. And one night we were out on the trampoline and my cousin and brother swear what I thought was an airplane was actually a ufo :roll:

can't say that i have, no.
several years ago though i was standing outside with my mom right after the sky had gone dark in the evening and we saw this really strange light in the sky. it looked like a candle flame, only much bigger, obviously. and it never moved. it just glowed this orangey color for a while.
i think the most bizarre part of the whole experience was seeing so many of our neighbors staring up at it as well. it was like something out of a movie.

Every day when I go outside, I see a big blue ship, above the cloud level, with a spotlight which plays across the sky as though searching for something. Only when it moves on can I see the stars.

I don't believe we have ever been visited by anyone from another planet, but yes I suppose anything UNIDENTIFIED would be a UFO, but it doesn't mean its from outer space.
I suspect is more a product of an over active imagination.

but you cant be 100% sure they haven't come from another galaxy.

But there is no physical evidence that they have been here or that even THEY exist.
Now, I do believe that there must be some sort of life out there, but doubt we have ever been visited.
The distances are incredible vast between solar systems, much less galaxies.

Just because we cant travel fast enough to visit other galaxy's doesn't mean that "aliens" are working with the same technology as us.
They could be way more advanced as we could be any time soon.

If a civilization was so advanced that they were able to travel faster than light, why in the world would they want to come to a backwater destination like Earth?
They would have a choice of anyplace in the galaxy to expo re.
Remember, our galaxy is pretty much run of the mill as far as galaxies are concerned. Earth is on the far end of of one of the spiral arms of our galaxy. Hardly worth anyone or anythings notice in the vastness that is the cosmos.

Yes the laws of physics are universal but we may not fully understand them either. Humans did think at one time that the earth was flat and we know today we were way off on that one. Also you don't sometimes just get in your car and go for a ride just to go they may do the same . We also send robots and whatnot to mars and we know nothing is there but rocks. They could travel here to do the same just look around and see whats here.

I really have never seen a UFO and have no proof but it is foolish to think earth is the only planet with living organisms on it considering the universe is infinite in size.. there is so much out there we know nothing about. What if God is just a UFO.. if you believe in God.. I always wonder... ahhhh...

I saw what looked like a shooting star, it went across the sky, stopped, and then moved of in the opposite direction. I dunno if it was an alien, but I was a believer long before I saw that, so I'll just go ahead and say it was.

Have you ever played the UFO game when you're travelling in the car? Unidentifiable FLATTENED objects. Quite fun.
More on the sibject, I have occasionally seen things and wondered. There was something I saw ages ago that made me think - 'ALIEN!!!' and it stopped me from sleeping just incase it tried to steal me :( .

I HAVE told my daughter that if she takes a glass of water to bed, aliens will come into her room to get a drink.

I had a really freaky experience one night. I'm not saying I believe it was aliens, but it's up there with the UFO phenomena.
A friend of mine and I were driving around one night just killing time. We left from a place in a town called Greer, heading toward his uncle's house. Just before we passed the interstate, there was a strange globe of light darting around the sky off to our left. I pointed it out just as it was fading out, and then I got on the interstate onramp. As I rounded the last curve, a very very brilliant flash of light lit up everything, the entire night sky (approx 1:30 am) turned white and you could see everything around in stark contrast. In a matter of milliseconds it was over, everything dark again. I was so freaked out I pulled over at the next exit and we went into a grocery store for a few minutes to catch our breaths and heart rates (there is a sit down reading area in the store.) We chilled out for about a half an hour and then went to his uncles house. When we arrived there, it was 4:30 am. That's 3 hours and 10 minutes from our original departure.
The next day we drove the distance, stopped at the same supermarket to wait for 30 minutes, and finished the trip to his uncles house. 45 minute- 1 hour drive trip total, including the stop.

A week later, another friend and I were driving along the same route, and saw yet another globe in the sky. No flash of light this time, though.
Something to note: The morning after the first encounter, a guy on the radio station we were listening to was asking if anyone else saw the weird lights in the sky the night before. Everyone in the studio made fun of him.

Yeah, that's the infamous "lost time" phenomenon. I dunno if it has anything to do with UFOs, but it certainly is connected to cars. Almost every reported experience of this kind has taken place when driving.

Perhaps 'lost time' has to do with (A) driving slower than you think you are, because you are paying attention to whatever weird thing happened, or (B) making a stop to collect yourself and waiting longer than you think you did, because of stress.

I didn't know about the lost time happening mostly during driving.
I'd vote for option B as well, since the event happened so quickly I couldn't have slowed down to pay attention.

I saw a UFO. It flew over my car, in the same direction, and only 50feet or so above ground. Extremely fast.
Later I found out it had been a runaway drone from the nearby AFB, so I had to reclassify it from UFO to IFO.
Of course, I would have preferred it to have stayed UFO; that would have made the world more exciting, kinda.
I want to believe. But I can't...
