Hi all,
welcome to my attemp of establishing a nice forum about aviation stories.
As a good story should always be based on some good pictures,
here is a description, how to get them in here.

As I cannot provide unlimited webspace for your pictures, you have to find some space in the web where to host them,
you can only post references in here as decribed below:
Either you own a domain anyway or you have to find a cheap (free!) solution to let someone else host your pictures.
I'm using free webspace from Arcor (http://www.arcor.de - unfortunately all in German) as well as the free Arcor Image galleries (1400MB!!).
But there should be similar free offers all around in any language.
If you use a domain (either free or paid), upload your pictures with an FTP client and note the urls of them, we'll need them later.
If you use a public image gallery upload the pictures.
View them and as you see them in the browser do a right click on the picture and choose "properties".
A little window will pop up displaying a field called "Address (URL)", mark the URL text (should start with http:// ) with your mouse and either press "CTRL+C" or select "copy" from the right-click mouse context menu.
Now you can paste them (CTRL+V) or "paste" from the right-click mouse context menu in any other Windows application.
Note the urls of your pictures.
ATTENTION:
Please reduce the image width to 800pixels, otherwise the page becomes too large and we have to scroll vertically to view it.
1.) Register to the Forum, so we don't have anonymous artists in here,
2.) Log in with your new forum account,
3.) Pick a subcategory that fits for your story,
4.) Press the "New topic" on the left side to start editing your story,
5.) When you edit your text and want to let a picture appear, copy the noted URL(s) of the according image into the textbox,
mark it and press the Img button above the textbox. Press "preview" to check whether it works.
6.) If you want to provide pictures, larger than 800pixels width, just post a smaller preview as decribed above and a link to the larger Version, so it will be opened in a new browser window.
You do that by using the URL button above the textbox instead of the Img Button like described in 5.

I created a little image gallery in Arcor:

this is the URL of Arcors preview for a single image:

if embedded in the Img tags it goes like this:

Good news..
you can even upload your images without webspace or external galleries in here..
When you write a posting just make use of the
"Image Hosting by ImageShack - ToS" option in the menu !
on the page that opens up press on the preview.. as the picture pops up full size right click and copy the URL like described above into the img tags of a posting.
ohh they even accept large ones !
