In den letzte Tagen mehrten sich in unseren Foren die Einträge mit einem Bezug zu fehlenden Statistiken, ausbleibenden Beförderungen, nicht angerechneten Punkten und nicht vergebenen Awards. Mein Kollege Violet aus dem internationalen EA Forum hat deshalb hierzu einige kurze Statements verfasst. Es wird im Moment mit allen möglichen Kräften daran gearbeitet, damit das Problem schnell wieder behoben ist. Die Stats werden defintiv NICHT abgeschalten!

Die Statsprobleme scheinen teilweise behoben, teilweise nicht. Das hört sich komisch an, es liegt jedoch anscheinend kein generelles Versagen der Statistiktransfers vor, sondern es betrifft offensichtlich einige Server, andere nicht. DICE, IGN, das BF Support Team und die Ranked Serverprovieder arbeiten mit Hochdruck an einer Lösung. Bis dahin wäre es einen Versuch wert, auch andere Gameserver zu versuchen, falls euer Stammspielfeld von den Punktetransferausfällen betroffen ist.
Ein neuerliches Statement meines Kollegen Violet aus dem EA Forum legt dies nahe. Wichtig ist hierbei der zweite Absatz.

Personally, I'd like to thank you all for your support of the game (and my fragile self). Everyone who has suggested some good mods to play, or made fun 'things to do while the stats are down' threads, or reported server information when I requested it has helped this community tremendously. This is a tough issue and I really appreciate everything you've done to help.

Zwei kleine Statementupdates von Violet und dem neuen DICE Community Manager worldwide Pete "Sentience" Closs, welcher all diejenigen beruhigen wird, die um ihre Stats fürchten:

As I said before, the server information you provided was really helpful. A number of teams are now working with the RSPs and the servers you noted to narrow down the exact issue causing these stats outages. I don’t know much more than that at this point but I will keep you updated as I learn more. Also, I wanted to let you know that we have an answer up about the stats outage (linked below). If you click the Notify Me… button in the answer, you’ll receive an update whenever new information is added.

Zum Einen wird also gesagt, dass man nicht davon ausgehe, dass Punkte verloren gehen. Zum Anderen gibt es mit oben genanntem Link einen Eintrag im EA.Support, wo ihr über den Button "Notify Me" sofort ein Update erhalten werdet, wenn sich eine Änderung ergibt.

Gerüchte, die das Gegenteilige besagen, dürfen also getrost als Ente abgetan werden. Zu den aktuell lauenden Bemühungen finden sich folgende Statements:
We have noticed a sharp increase in soldiers reporting that their stats, awards, and rank are not updating. This is under heavy investigation since, as you know, the ranking system is a central feature of the game.

Das Wichtigste als Übersetzung:
Es wurde von uns ein deutliche Erhöhung der Meldungen über fehlende Statistiken, Awards und nicht updatende Ränge festgestellt. Dies wird im Moment mit allen Mitteln untersucht da, wie ihr wisst, das Ranking-System ein zentrales Feature des Spiels ist.
Folgendes Zitat erreichte uns über K-Play, einem der Ranked Serverprovider:
"EA and GameSpy are aware of the issue and are currently investigating."
Es gibt also keinen Grund zur Sorge, dass das Stats-System abgeschalten würde. Da weitere offizielle Statements noch nicht verfügbar sind, werden wir euch bei Erscheinen, bzw bei Klärung des Problems sofort informieren.
