KAKADU NATIONAL PARK
"Kakadu National Park is in the Northern Territory of Australia, 171 km east of Darwin.
Kakadu National Park is located within the Alligator Rivers Region of the Northern Territory of Australia. It covers an area of 19,804 square kilometres, extending nearly 200 kilometres from north to south and over 100 kilometres from east to west. It is the size of Israel, about one-third the size of Tasmania, or nearly half the size of Switzerland."

Due to lack of time (rather: money) I won't comment most of the following
pictures, however, it's quite worth a close look for Kakadu is supposed to be one the country's most stunning NPs - not my favorite, though, I was certainly overwhelmed by the diversity of life...

Ah, by the way, we gave our best, we tried it all - but we just coudn't make out one single wild croc... lots of foot-prints instead, though - well, and maybe not the worst that could have happened for surprisingly many people got attacked and/or killed by "salties" in here every year_

Please don't tell me - I know, I look strange and yes, I'm going to shave m skin and cut my hair soon again... and well, maybe I look exhausted or tired or you can even read in my eyes that I was yearning for a proper shower and a bed - well, all that is true, but - hey! - it's the Rainbow Serpent I'm sitting in front of!
