Hi friends,
I am really not sure if this piece comes from an aircraft, but have found it in area where crashed a sole engine after a B-17G exploded in midair... so if this is from B-17G, it must be from the engine or nearest (wing or landing gear) accessories. Just some two meters from this part I have found pieces of the cylinder head cooling ribs, that are absolutely sure from the B-17G.

I have not found it on any B-17 engine or nacelle drawing, but it still looks to me to be made too precise than to be an older agriculture machine part...
Thanks for your opinion...
Jan
