yep - seen it on TV. They are not sure yet if he commited suicide or what else happened. Well, it makes me think about that even people who achieved a lot in their life can be unhappy ...

i admired him so.
cause he wasn't afraid to do difficult characters ,like in Brokeback Mountain ,Brother's Grimm & Ned Kelly.

yep, really sad story. My brother woke me this morning and told me this... so my whole day was down the drain... to quote Queen: "only the good die young" - I just don't believe it was suicide... it was just a stupid accident :cry:

i soo agree :cry:
a couple of days ago i was cleaning my room & seeing what things i could get rid off ,including DVD's ,since i have so many.
while making piles of what to keep and what to give away i came across Ned Kelly (was 1 of my fav.) and i just started sobbing
make thing happend when i found several magazines and some had interviews of him & reviews of his movies.
after that i couldn't stop crying.
i just stopped cleaning.
he was a Brilliant Actor. "On his way to the top" like they say it
he will be missed so much :cry:

Sorry guys, I must apologise for being absent lately.
It's really sad about Heath. Everyone here was really proud of him for being a Perth boy and going on to do such big things. My sister is his age and used to go to his parties in high school, and my other sister's co-worker has been friends with him since high school and Heath would still call him to catch up whenever he was back in town. They had a memorial service for him at his old high school and the official service is being kept a secret by the family but it said to be sometime this week. Michelle Williams and their daughter flew in last night so it wouldn't surprise me if it is held today (and it is a horrible rainy and depressing day today too). I think the real tragedy of all of this is that a little girl has lost her father, and I really wish the photographers would leave his poor family to grieve in peace. Heath was actually in town a few weeks ago spending Christmas with his family and called the editor of the local paper to express his gratitude for the media leaving him alone during his time here. He apparently got quite emotional and said that it had allowed him to revisit his childhood and had been a really happy time for him. As sad as the whole situation is, I'm glad that his family got to spend one last happy Christmas with him.

at least they had the change of making 1 more Good Memory with him
May they cherrish it close to their hearts (Dutch saying which may i add sounds really wierd in english)

No problem. The funeral was held here on Saturday. Poor Michelle looked distraught (as you would be) and was holding on to Heath's sister. I really hope that now the funeral is over the media will leave his poor family alone to grieve in private.

It´s bad that the media has to follow poeple whereever they go, once they are popular ... they should leave them alone. That would be fair.
I really don´t follow what is going on with Britney Spears, but she is on TV and in the news every day and she gets followed by those paparazzi every single minute - no wonder she turned crazy.
I can understand celebrities who start fights with paparazzi and reporters ... they don´t know when to stay away. But then it´s also the fault of our community, because we want to be close to celebrities by knowing everything about them ...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't follow what is going on with Britney, but she seems to be in the news constantly. But, I've also heard that Britney is an attention seeker and would tip the paparazzi off whenever she was going out. Who knows what the real story is.
You know, I was going to say exactly the same thing. We feel bad for these poor celebrities who get harassed by the media, but then go out and buy the magazines that they sell their pictures to, thus continuing the cycle. It's a bit of a tough situation cos, on the one hand we want to know about their lives, but on the other hand these people rely on media attention to support their careers.
