This is Maynard's original band, other than his side project band known as A Perfect Circle. I totally dig this band's material, especially from the album Lateralus. That CD is absolutely amazing.
Tell what you think about them here. Any news concerning Tool will go here as well.
BTW, it was all a joke when "Maynard Found Jesus".

Yeah, me too. A dude I know from my high school that's a big Tool fan said he heard about that post, and he said that was an April Fool's Day Joke, and he's right. It was posted on that day. It sounded like utter bullcrap to be news.

I love the music from tool, i thinks its fuckin amazing, same with perfect circle. I do not however like the singer! he seems like a really badass guy......but i hate his voice! it just annoys the living fuck outta me.

Indeed they are, and I really love Maynard's vocals. They are very melodic and soft and hard at certain points in all their songs.
