Probably a legendary rock band I'm sure. The only thing I can't stand now about them is how Lars is acting like a bitch whining about crap, like on the Some Kind Of Monster movie. My favorite albums have got to be Reload, Kill 'Em All, and St. Anger, SO FAR. I haven't given the other Metallica albums a listen yet, and I know I should. Kirk Hammett is absolutely awesome on the guitar, and he's still pretty good, along with James Hetfield. The thing I liked about St. Anger was the brand of guitars they used, their sounds were absolutely awesome. Probably the best duo combo, a Gibson Les Paul with an Ibanez. The Ibanez is what I liked most, because Ibanez is one of my most favorite guitar brands.

I dont like Metallica.....They arent all that talented in any specific area, besides guitar. I will give it to you Kirk is an amazing drummer, but hetfield has the most annoying voice ever. And lars isnt a very good drummer and bitches and sues music downloading websites! :D

Yeah, they are considered a legendary metal band, but I think the biggest reason why people hate them now is because of Lars, but that's becoming an overused and overrated reason to not like them. I find that completely unoriginal now, and I wish people could come up with more legitimate reasons than Lars' drumming. I still enjoy Metallica as of today.
