Haha I get it Good one Dutch! Wes is a sort of a God to many people.....but he isn't a God to me. Fred is a God to me....but only because i'm a singer in a band so I can relate to Fred and look to him for inspiration.

    Re: Wes Borland

    Unrealbizkit - 09.04.2005, 04:21

Yea Id say! I love his voice....its so fucking different! and he takes advantage of every bit of it if you ask me.

I hope Wes will release something revolutionary in the songs on the new record. I would love to hear some mind-boggling riffs that are in his own style; the cool thing is that he used Jackson guitars for this record!

    Re: Wes Borland

    Unrealbizkit - 09.04.2005, 22:06

Ya i agree. anyone know whats up with that shit? why is he usin Jackson? i thuoght Wes was an Ibanez guy? maybe cuz theyre going for a BACK TO BASICS attitude he wanted to use something a little less glamorized.

    thelimpkid - 16.04.2005, 18:52

these guitars are good guitars, maybe he wanted to try something new!

There's been a debate at TAP on what guitar he used in that studio video of The Truth, and people can't tell if it's a Fender Starcaster or this new looking Ibanez made recently. I've got doubts it's either one, but who knows until the record's released and we can look in the booklet to see what guitar companies supplied him.

    Here's the Fender Starcaster.

    AND

    Here's the Ibanez TXD71.

i think the ibanez sounds better

    Re: Wes Borland

    thelimpkid - 17.04.2005, 15:42

yeah, but all the stuff that they have, they can make a cheap guitar sound good! so you can't decide that i think

    Re: Wes Borland

    name may vary - 17.04.2005, 15:44

nah i think that in general... ibanez rule

    Re: Wes Borland

    thelimpkid - 17.04.2005, 15:45

    yeah, ibanez are good guitars!

remember the video with wes playing dont go off wandering??? aah that was so great!!!

    Re: Wes Borland

    Hanky Panky - 17.04.2005, 17:48

i don't think it's anyone of those guitars...

    Re: Wes Borland

    thelimpkid - 18.04.2005, 19:22

    what guitar do you think?

    Re: Wes Borland

    Hanky Panky - 18.04.2005, 19:31

i don't know. but if you look at the head of his guitar, you can see that it looks more like the ibanez. but if you take a look at the body, it looks more like the fender, so i just don't know

    Re: Wes Borland

    thelimpkid - 18.04.2005, 19:51

maybe a mix of these guitars, you seen a pic where he changed the humbuckers!

    Re: Wes Borland

    Unrealbizkit - 22.04.2005, 20:27

i dont think the guitar matters a much as the skill behind it. i think wes could be using one of the shittiest guitars known to mankind and still be one of the best guitarists to ever hit the stage.

    Re: Wes Borland

    name may vary - 22.04.2005, 21:51

i dont think so cuz when he got the new guitar for csathdfw it sounded better than the guitar on so...

    Re: Wes Borland

    Unrealbizkit - 24.04.2005, 22:25
