It still seems to be in its Beta stages, but from what I've seen so far its pretty amazing.
Just as the DCS2, the BZ2 keeps damages equal, and from what ive seen the speeds of weapons seem to stay the same as well.
The upside to this, the BZ2 works with all safezone weapons, where as the DCS2 seems to require that you use DCS weapons for the meter to work properly.
The BZ2 is coming out to be alot simpler to work with for the sim and quests who come to rp, and seems to have about the same features that weve been looking for in a new meter to switch to.
Those who wish to try out the BZ2, contact myself, or Tasdon Dryke, and we will give you a copy of the meter to try.

I tested the BZ 2 and it seems it takes an eternity to take down someone, using a bow. Maybe because of some bugs.

it is in beta, but i didnt seem to have a problem with ranged weapons. ill check it out.

I would like to know, whether it is true, that females have disadvantages with the BZ2.
We all know, Gor is a mens world. But in fact we are roleplaying here. And there are enough dumbs with the only aim to collar as many panther as they can get. I would not like the idea, to make it more simple for them.
If someone fight, chances should be equal in the fight. Only skills should decide the match.
Are the experiences with that ?
And i dont like to change to DCS. All would be forced to buy new weapons and i dont like weapons like that. And to be forced to buy them for a high price that they have.
So, in my opinion there is the choice between still using the old BZ or the new one.

I can answer my question myself.
Now we have the BZ 2.0.3 and there damage and all in fighting is equal again.
So i would suggest, to use this meter. we need not to change anything then.

after further testing the BZ2 meter for a few hours with Carlos. We found that there is infact NO BUG with bows/ranged weapons.
In fact, the meter just makes it harder to hit with ranged weapons, but a successful shot seems to do a good fair amount of damage.
The OLD meters had sencers, that if a ranged projectile (arrow) gets close, it would register damage.
However, with the NEW BZ2 meter, to score a hit, the arrow must impact the AV DIRECTLY to cause damage.
All this means is that everyones aim as to improve greatly.
and yes, i LOVE these new meters, they keep everything equal and fair and do a good job at keeping people from cheating.
