The Rasmus will come to Russia to date girls! ;)
This summer The Rasmus will play in Russia 8 gigs! Having learned about it, Bravo is gone in Helsinki, met Lauri and has chatted on souls
BRAVO: Hello, Lauri! We have listened to that you are now writing new songs?
Lauri: Hello! Ok, you see, we are on our studio in Helsinki and write new songs to at the beginning of next year release our next disc. Now we have about 40 songs, we will choose the best! Of course, I could write 15 tracks and go to the studio, but now, to be fair, I really feel myself good. Do you know, time when musicians write songs - it is the best time for anyone musician. New disc will cardinally differ from everything that we did earlier. We have recorded 6 discs and there has come time to change.
BRAVO: About what your new songs?
Lauri: Do you know, I always wrote about events in my life, always tried to be fair with our fans ... I write about feelings which I have felt, or about feelings which I'd want to feel. Every The Rasmus' song - it is my life experience.
BRAVO: Where do you plan to record your new album? On Dynasty Recordings?
Lauri: No. It's our own studio, but record disc, most likely, we will record in USA. And, I want to say, America is America, with all following consequenses. ( Laughing ).
BRAVO: During performances across Russia, you will play new songs?
Lauri: Ok, it is possible! We are very waiting for this tour. We have been in Russia some times and every our arrival was something improbabple! Here we have very good fans, and everytime we know that we will come in Russia again.
BRAVO: It seems, the last year you had problems with police?
Lauri: ( Laughing.) Do you know, big parties can't be without police! We then went for a drive across Russia with our friends - band H.I.M. And, of course, have arranged noisy party in a train. Then we really had problems with policemen who tried to arrest members The Rasmus ... It were with handcuffs and other terrible things! But all has passed normally.
BRAVO: This year parties too are planned?
Lauri: And how without it? We are Finns! ( Laughing.)
BRAVO: Russian girls-fans already actively prepare for your arrival: go to sports halls, sit on diets ... Tell fairly, you give them chance?
Lauri: What, the truth? Certainly, I with pleasure would communicate with Russian girls! The unique problem that each time when we come, at us is banal does not suffice time for that with someone to get acquainted because we have soundchecks, interview and other nonsense! But in any case, girls, we are always open for dialogue!
BRAVO: You like to receive gifts from fans?
Lauri: Personally I very much like, when fans make something by the hands. It always more personal and touching than that it is possible to buy in shops. The last year to me have presented a tremendous portrait. It was very-very cool!
BRAVO: Many musicians speak that have decided to become rock-stars to involve girls. And in your case it it so?
Lauri: Wow, talk about girls, I like it! I think it main reason why I made band. ( Laughing.) Do you know, I was loser before I became rockstar. And when I listened to my song on the radio for the first time I understood that I became somebody. And it first of all has affected my personal self-estimation. I have ceased to be afraid of girls, have learned the first to begin conversation and etc.
BRAVO: And now the situation has changed? Or you still write songs to tempt girls?
Lauri: No, of course, no! But ... (Laughing.) To be fair, now I'm writing songs everytime. They are born in my head completely unexpectedly and in different situations.
BRAVO: In July H.I.M. will go in tour with Metallica. Which person you would play with?
Lauri: Yes, I have known that H.I.M. will play with Metallica. It's great! We met guys from Metallica. I know when they in July will come in Helsinki I'll invite guys to drink coffee on our studio.
About which person I would play with ... Maybe it would be band Weezer. It's my childhood. It would be great to met with them.
BRAVO: What you'd say to your fans in Russia?
Lauri: Guys, you rock! We'll see you soon!
