Hey guys, just to push this forum into another direction ^^
2 recently published books i rly can recommend
altho i haven't read them but i already ordered them =)
Well they are parts of fantasy series
first 7th book for Malazan series: Reaper's Gale. A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson. It came out a week ago.
Rly nice abstract and partly philosophical fantasy. I like it cuz it stands abit apart from the usual fantasy categories. Many many plot lines which tell a story in a greater comprehension.
Its world isnt parted in good and evil but everthing seems fluiend which makes a clear distinction harder.
also Valashu part 4. Diamond Warriors by David Zindell. Also published 1 week ago.
its also very philosophical, very deep but in contrast to SE (Steven Erikson) David Zindell focuses on a small party from which he reflects upon human nature (SE also does that). Like the specific position mankind takes in within a greater univers. also reflects upon the nature of life and death. Here too the borders between good and evil becomes blurry. Which i rly like.
so far from me, maybe i will add some details later on. but now i gotta go playin basketball.

i read a lot of books .. about 15-20 every year
i dont like fantasy books.. i prefer asimoov, gibson, rowling, douglas, kundera, and much more
