Hey,
Since anybody hasn't created the first topic yet, I'll do it...
What are your plans for "after-school-life" ? Do you already have some ?
Have a nice afternoon :D

yeah well, talking of life after school is kind of hard since it still seems so far away. but i am pretty close to the decision of doing an FSJ and starting to study mathematics afterwards. i hope i can do so in hamburg, since i really like the town. maybe that apartment thing with carl and lennklaus really comes into being, still planning on that account....

Haio,
I don't know what (or even if to study) yet. But one thing I'm sure about is that I want to travel:
There are so many people in the world that I haven't met yet, so many places I haven't seen yet...
A guy who I once met in Spain ( a member of a small group who has been travelling around the world for round about 10 years at that time ; they started the tour when they finished their exams... ) told me this: "The road is the best school".
I think there is something true about it. When I was in Italy during easter-holidays for only two weeks in a group of 6 people, I already learned a lot. For example about how damn wrong you can be prejudicing people , about myself ,about teamwork and many other things.
I'm curious about what will happen in future...very curious.

Well, that's a good topic to dwell on. Honestly I don't have the faintest idea about what to do. I might do some civil service or begin some intereesting studies. BUt maybe I want to enjoy life a little before. Yet I don't think I would get along very well without doing anything in particular. I'm sure of not wanting to become a rich person whose only sense of life is making more and more money and working a lot...:)
Maybe I become a doctor or work in the ecologic business...

hey I like the topic!!
since I was in the first class I want to be a primary-school-teacher (is it the right way of spelling it!?) but first, when I finished school, I want to go to india making a practical training over there (for a half year) and make my experiences...?! someday I had the idea to end my studies and go to afrika (rather southafrica) teaching the little black and brown children!! :) (they are so cute) and live there for a period of time...
my desire to get a job as a teacher didn't change over the years... but actually I also thought about many other opportunities ... (like jobs with cooking or singing... art is a possibility...etc...) but the expactation to work with children, to make something special and to be creative in everyday, thats the best!! *laugh*
but I want to see more of the world. the year right after school I'll make my practical training , I hope I will enjoy the time, when I am young!! ... well... these are my provisional plans for the future...!!

@ani:
do you already know what to do in india in particular? working with children/disabled/old people or rather doing something for (?!) environment?
I think it's kind of cool that you still got the same idea of "dream-job" as in first grade... I wish I had that, too... I don't even remember what I wanted to become back then.
have a nice long WE

hey,
i do like the topic too(i know, this realization is a litte late but...)!
i really want to study after school, but i`m not really sure what to study!
my first, and only, idea was to become a primary-school-teacher (like ani).
but i am not really sure about that...on one hand i really like my little cousins and the two weeks i spend at my mom`s school last year were great!!but on the other hand some children are freaking me out  !!!
so i don`t know if i am able to do this job.
well, my plan is to spend some more weeks at other primary schools and to get some more experiences.
have fun,see you all tomorrow...

@ani: there you go, thats's the way to work the political correctness. :D
i actually don't really understand the people who want to become elementary school teachers... i don't know a single person, i think, that little children don't annoy the crap out of after a while. i mean these days, they don't even seem to have any respect for older people anymore. when i was so young i was really afraid of the older students, not even speaking of teachers, but it seems like those were the "good-ol' days"... :(
well aren't we some social bunch of people? :D

i think the big difference between the age of me and of the little children is important. the diffenrence makes the necessary respect.
maybe you have to think about, but i mean, in other jobs you have to menage you job-life with all the other workers... so there wouldn't be any differences of age...
i actually can handle my job as a babysitter and there is a less difference... it probably happen, that there are conflicts, which i have to manage, but i like to do creative things, singing, art, playing and doing things with children... so i really do thing thats a great job for me... we can talk about that in 10 years, perhaps it has come like i've never expected...!??!
(many mistakes... you understood!??!)

there were really a bunch of mistakes, but i don't feel like correcting any of them right now, since i have to get some learning done too...
hopefully we'll talk about that in 10 years... you'll prolly be the one who organizes all the class reunions i guess. i for my part am pretty damn bad at keeping in touch...
