Alright Waqu i needs your assistance here real soon. I have wensday off and will be working on gettin AO running under WINe if I can ever get it to install on a AMD64 install of Ubuntu.
I am attempting to compile it tonight from source since they dont have a dep out yet for Feisty. If you gots any tips on this you just let me know man.

Yarr... btw there is options for Wine... like Cedega (supports also Anarchy Online and YES... can be installed on Ubuntu)

There you see all A* games and yes Anarchy Online is there... Heard from friend that Cedega is the word... thats the future :)
Dont kno much about Wine :) but... gl there... everything is possible :)
Does many read these forums nowadays... seems like frequent of reply's gone down... 1 post / week O.o

got WINe installed and compiled right for X64 :) Got AO running under it but Im not getting sound. I need to install the ALSA drivers so it will function correctly there but sound isnt all that important in AO.
havent got Flash running just yet since there is no source its just an rpm file witch sucks cause I cant make that install on 64 without a lot of work. maybe when Vista gets going better they will compile and post a 64bit RPM.

Aye, I have removed Windows Completely from my computer, and im running Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.
I got Cedega 6.0 and Wine.
I downloaded Anarchy Online from www.anarchyonline.com, the Gamershell mirror. Anyway, the file seems to be bugged, i cant unzip it in 7zip, and as u know i play WoW, and I cannot install it, and the problem i have can be with my RAM. so i am using about 24 hours of Memtest86+ now, too see if my sugestion of Problem is right, if not i dunno what i am gonna do.
I also know that if you use Cedega 6,0 it has Gold Support, and its popularity is 4/5, so many AO users use Linux <3
Wine
But once u have Unzipped the File, you can go to Terminal, and navigate to the directory that u unzipped it too, if using wine.
- wright wine setup.exe
This will do all the work for you automatically.
Cedega
Install Cedega:
you can accually chose to pay for it, which i'd hope you do. Else you can download it from torrents, for an username and password, you ofc need to pay. But you dont need user/pass to use it.
Press either Install/mount and configure what you want to install
Anarchy Online

home/cdrom/install.exe <example>
then press Continue and it should complete.
if it does double click the AO anarchy online Icon. Only problem is that, when opening the log-in page you cannot press the links in the Internet browser, because its IE. they will open in the same window, well thats all i know..
