When I walked up the stairs to go and watch "Expiration Date", Nakotah came my way. I introduced myself and asked him, if he is hosting a MySpace :wink: . Finally he recognized me and was like "Oh Anne, it´s really nice to meet you !!!" I was telling him about NewNativeSpirit. His dad was there, too and so we agreed that we will talk about everything after the screening of the movie.
I can tell you for sure that Nakotah is a nice young man! A typical 17 y/o teenager !!! A bit shy (... just a bit), which is also typical for a teenager (lol), but also very professional in what he is doing. After the screening there was a Q&A´s and his dad had to help him a bit answering the questions. He signed autographs afterwards and finally I got to talk to his dad about NNS. They were both very pleased to be a part of NNS and I will get headshots and more info after they´ve returned to the USA. Steve LaRance, his dad, who is also a jewellery artist, gave me his direct contact info and so I´m looking forward to this cooperation.

He is a very handsome young man - better not let Keri see these photos - she's 17. She got a look at the NA Calender and immedately fell for Nat Camacho - in fact they are both on each others myspace...

Nate is one of the models in the 2007 Native Am Men Calander.
Keri gleaned through the calender and landed on Nate.

let me see if I can find a photo of him. I have the calender at home I maybe able to scan one in (I would have to get permission first) because the photo does not belong to me....or find one of him on the net. I do know he is on myspace and he has short hair and is a cutie.

It's okay, I just googled him. I couldn't see his face properly cos it was a breakdancing shot?!
Anyway, do you know where I could get a copy of this calendar?

He is in the Native American Men's Calendar that "Viewfinder Photographs puts out.

Anne- that's awesome you were able to get your pic with this up and coming young star. I'm sure he was as polite as can be. Was language much of a barrier for the show? Or was it done mainly in English/German mix? Just asking.

Yes, Nakotah he was very polite!!! Fine young man!
All the movies were in English and the Q&A´s was in English, too. Most of the people do speak English over here and it wasn´t a problem at all. You still can use your hands - LOL - no, it was ok. The actors and filmmakers didn´t expect everyone to speak English perfectly and it wasn´t a problem. There were always people around who were able to help a bit ... the good thing was, that even the German people were speaking English to each other when we were talking with the invited guests. I think it´s polite to do so. Just imagine you are in the middle of a conversation and suddenly some people start talking to each other in another language ... wouldn´t feel strange about it? Although it was a strange feeling, because we knew that we are German, but as I said, it´s just polite.
For the movies there was also a short summary in German before the screening and the Q&A´s was also translated in German. I don´t have any problems with English and I always feel good talking English - I had to get back into German again when I got back home - lol
