Normally when I work my part-time job during the week - I put in 11 to 12 hour days. I'll be so glad when today and tonight are over with. Just hope I get some more pre-rings - I've done gone over my goal by $700.00 for tomorrow night. We have goals and my prering goal was 1500 and I was supposed to have by tomorrow night 2,100.00 well I've got 2,800 so far and I'll work tonight and tomorrow night - then I work this weekend - tomorrow night is the start of billion dollar sales and we have some blow outs.

I work for the University of Louisville in the Industrial Engineering Dept. as a program assistant sr. I pretty much run the office and make sure the graduate students have all their i's dotted and t's crossed. I am the contact person for all new incoming Master's and Ph.D. students.
At JCP where I've been since 04 - I work in Fine Jewerly - I've become quite a diamond expert and normally put in around 15 hours a week there part-time. That is my social life so to speak...funny how work ends up being your social life.

Hey believe me it is not easy and I may be leaving my part-time job very shortly.....I went in and posted in My Two Cents what should have gone in here. At least I only have 15 hours next week. I'll be so glad for vacation time to roll around. Normally when I am off I do make time for myself but I don't seem to have a lot of it. But when I do......I like to lounge around the house is nothing :shock: and burn some candles or insense and put on some native flute music and relax....may do that tonight (not run around in nothing) but light some candles and listen to the flute music.....I've just been really stressing - do you know what it's like to not look forward to something.....and I've actually gotten physical ill before going to my part-time job.
It's wonderful to have such caring friends and I love you guys so very much.

like i said in PM ,i have problems with our server and the internet-compagny
my mom is even thinking of going to court
yeah ,it's that bad
but don't worry
we didn't do anything wrong ,the compagny did
a hand full of empoyees told us the rules of their compagny ,and some of those rules were discriminating rules and another thing
my mom has digital 3 in 1 at that compagny and she has to pay much more than some familymmebers with the same thing at the same compagny
my mom told them about it and they just made soem excuses ,so my mom thinks ,wel KNOWS that they are @#$%!@ us
so i think monday my mom is going to search for a lawyer
hope it isn't nessicary but when the compagny doesn't claim their mistakes ,she will take it to court definatly :?

My weekend was busy had to work Friday and Sat nights but was off yesterday. Going to have to take Snoopy back to the vet. He started feeling puny again yesterday no pep. They must have called 4 times in the last 2 weeks to see how he was doing. I don't know if maybe his new food is not agreeing with him or maybe his allergey meds he takes every other day - but mom said he's not been out of the bedroom all morning and that is very unusual. So I guess I'll take him tonight when I get off.
It's very hot in my office right now = they are having problems with the a/c - had a very nice weekend - high in the 80's hope it lasts.
I'm just now getting onto the board. I've got an orthopedic surgeon/foot doctor's appointment for tomorrow miday. Seem my foot is just getting worse and I can barely put any weight on it.

depending on what the foot doctor tells me - I may be giving up my part-time job. the pain in my foot is now a contant ach and burning sensation I could hardly sleep last night because of it.

Seems my arch is falling and I'm pretty close to a stress fracture on 3 of my toes. :shock: They have me in an orthopedic arch and have told me to get a better support shoe - New Age, Nikki, etc. and told me to stay away from the heels :cry: I have to go back on the 17th for a recheck...too he said my part-time job has attributed much to this problem but yet didn't tell me to give it up - that has to be my decision. After some of the ways Nancy M and myself where treated the other night - it's very inviting. Also he told me to apply cold not heat. He also said if we can get some of the pressure off of the middle toe I can have a cortzone shot which will help greatly but he said my arch is definitely falling.

I will - I've just got to find time to go get me some. Have to work tonight but am off tomorrow night.
He said I need a good support shoe and preferably one that has a flat bottom like a sandle or something. I had to have a note saying I had to wear this type of shoe for JCP because they like us to wear dressy shoes....

If you would live near by, I would tell you to go and see my brother in law, cause he is selling really beautiful and dressy shoes which do support your feet !!! My sister is wearing those shoes, too. She does have similar problems like you do and she says since she´s wearing those shoes almost every day her pain got much better !!!!

Hey thanks for the site I'll check it out. My foot doesn't feel too bad this morning but that inshoe brace is something - see it hooks over my toes and keeps them in line - sort of a funny feeling.

Hey how is Emma this morning? I took Keri to school today - we jad 2 fatilities that have shut down a part of two roads. I always worry about those when I hear about them because she has a couple of friends who have to come that way to school - I get just a little nervous. We had some terrible storms move in and we were teated to a lightening show and heavy rain. There were even some tree branches down....it's that season again. She is excited about the play and I will take photos and post them. Can't wait to see her fixed up like a turtle.

Emma is up and playing - that´s a good sign, cause she hasn´t been doing this for a week now. She was also eating - although it´s been lots of ice cream and chocolate, but I don´t care, cause I´m so happy that she is eating at all. She was already loosing her clothes ... now her brother will go and get some more ice cream! That´s the good thing about having a son who has a driving license - lol !!!

I used to wear some ankle-supporting-socks for vaulting (and now for my knee) because I damadged my feet and my knee, because my landing is not good for my ankles. It's way to hard. :? :x

this is good news about Emma - I hope and pray she is finally on the road to recovery.
I can't wait to see Keri in a green leotard, green face paint and a big tortoise shell. She has a solo and quite a few lines.
Once this weekend is over with she'll start concentrating on her NY trip. I'll start concentrating on my camping trip.

spend a little time on your book and then on your homework. Do you have a recorder? If so you could record the ideas as they come to you.

lmao I always have little paper lieing around in my room on whcih I wrote things down I have to do and I always write on my hand. :oops:
And no, I don't have a recorder. I mostly use paper :wink: So my room looks pretty... papered :lol:

hey don't worry - you should Keri's room - I believe it's wall to wall paper but she keeps everything. I have a document on my computer at work so whenever I think of something for my storey I type it out. I'm not a good writer but a wonderful typer...I guess

I´ve read some of Idril´s writings and they are good ... she needs to improve it a bit (don´t get me wrong Idril!!!) - that´s how we learn to do things ... I´m not perfect in what I´m doing either. But if she doesn´t stop writing, she´ll be fine!

Yea, most of my songs are either spiritual or romantic, and they are very symbolic so it's a bit hard for someone to understand. I haven't finished my story/novel yet I stopped writing a particular story i was working on for a few years now, i need to get to a certian place in my life so that I can finish it, (I know that sounds odd but it's true).

I hear you on that one - I'll start one then go back to it. I've got one that I will not post except via private because it's sort of seductive - I was in one of those moods a few years back and I just started writing - in fact I was going to use it as a prelude to a story.

I meant that my teachers, as well as my parents, discouraged me from pursuing that career path, as there isn't much scope for that kind of work in Australia. There was also journalism, but I don't think I am ruthless enough to do that kind of work. I still want to write a novel one day, when the inspiration for my story strikes me.
Yep, that's a good idea. I just entered one of my poems on poetry.com in their amateur poetry competition, and they just informed me that it has been advanced to the semi-finals!

cool I should be on after 4 tomorrow. I will get on-line tonight for a bit (provided we don't have any bad storms) after what happened the last time I refuse to even have my new one plugged in. Sometimes I like working early and getting off early but for the most I normally work the night shift. I work next Wed 5 to 9 and then next saturday 6 a.m. till 2 p.m. course if it is dead - I'll most likely go home if we have enough coverage - one sat we had 7 of us there and it was dead so Janice and I left 2 hours before we were supposed to that left 4 others till like around 6 then 3 till 10 p.m....so if it is dead tomorrow - believe me I'll get out of there.

We have a bit chaos in our family right now... My father and my sister are ill (my father was the first and infected my sister), my mum's nose is running and my ears hurt. Then I found lice on my sisters head and started to panic, because I hate lice and I'm always so afraid I might have a huge one on my head. So we all washed our heads with lice shampoo.
And about an hour ago a male dog stood in front of our door which probably wanted a little "date" with our (female) dog.
This day is pretty chaotic...

I hate lice myself but I've not had to deal with it. Fleas are another thing -I've spent more money on buying products for the yard and Snoopy and Cheddar take meds to keep the fleas and other critters off of them. I may spend over 100.00 every 8 weeks for chemicals for the yard.

this is not good - are you feeling any better. If not I'd get to my doctor or just rest and get plenty of fluids in you. Colds pretty much have to run their course...unless you run a fever then that means infection.

you are right! I have both movies and my girls do love it. I remember when I was in Canada, Nathaniel´s sister and I used to joke around with her baby by doing "WHERE´S THE BABY? ... THERE IT IS !" It´s from Ice Age Part I .
