DORIS DAY FORUM

ich habe gute Neuigkeiten für euch.
Im "Pillow Talk" Forum hat April einen schönen Beitrag geschrieben:

Hi Everyone
Yesterday I was in Carmel at the Cypress Inn on business and to see "Terry's Place", the wonderful bar named in the honor of Doris' son Terry. It is such a beautiful tribute to Terry. I also toured the new part of the hotel, which Terry worked very hard to make happen and it is wonderful.

Now to the Doris part. One of the hotel staff told me that Doris herself had been there for the first time just 2 days before me! She and a friend were out and about doing errands when her friend stopped in front of the hotel with the excuse of needing to use the bathroom. Doris was just going to stay in the car and wait, but was talked into coming in and saying hello. First she stayed just at the front desk but eventually was talked into going back and seeing the bar. She stayed about an hour, with one of her dogs, Denny at her feet. They said she loved the tribute to Terry, and that she looked fit and trim and happy.

Although I have worked with Doris in the past, we are not friends and have not kept in touch. It warmed my heart to know that she still thrives in life and that she has happiness and companionship.

I thought you'd all like to hear my story.

Es sehr schön zu hören das es Doris Day gut geht und auch mal wieder ihr Haus verlässt.
