I'm going to be spending New Year's Eve trying to get caught up on all the posts here!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
I've missed all you ladies- I hope your holidays went spectacular. I have two more gatherings this weekend, and then it will be back to the regular routines. Hubby's been off work, due to lack of work to do at his job. So he has been home driving me CRAZY and not giving me my required down time away from him and the kid. I'm sneaking online right now while he is watching Discovery Channel- so I only have a few minutes to chat and read a few posts. :shock:
HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL- I'VE MISSED CHATTING- I'LL BE BACK AGAIN SOON FULL-TIME. LUV YA!!

That´s true!!! When I was still married we used to do the same - nothing special ... but now ... hmmm how to decribe? Last year was my first New Year´s without my ex and I freaked out - decided to visit my friend in Bonn, which is a two hours drive from here, instead of being alone! This year I celebrate a successful year together with friends! Means, I was looking back to what happened not only regarding my business, but also how I handled the new situation and I´m damned proud of myself !!! I was so afraid of this year, because of the separation from my husband, I lost everything that was important to me: my "family", my house/home, my kids store and finally my dreams. So I was standing there with nothing but my kids, my ideas of my future and my hopes - no money, no job ... nothing! I moved into a new appartement, tried to find me a job to have a sure income, tried to be a good mom, although I was crying alot and tried to get back to life - I managed all these things and looking back, I can say, I did a great job! All my friends and my family are telling me !!! My kids are happy and I´m happy - we are healthy and we have a good life ... sure, still money is kind of tight, but I will work on that one next year !!! LOL So I really do have a reason to celebrate New Year´s!!! Don´t you think so :) ?

I feel better already :D thanks for the hug. I need to take some photos of the two puzzles I got for Christmas - since I've not completed the one I started I'll take them from the box tops. I plan on glueing them and then framing them.

I think I'll stay at home. I first wanted to go at my friends house but she got to work early in 1. February so I'll stay home and read a book or something. I'm not the Sylvester-type - I already banish the bad at halloween (or Samhain^^)

Well Keri and mom have plans to go out and me - I'm going to stay home - I may start taking the tree down and trying to get everything back to normal. I work at JCP from 1 to 6 tomorrow then don't go back till Friday night or Sat I believe. I'm going to get my hair trimmed tomorrow before going into work.
I will also be on line with you all to ring in the new year - course some of you will hit the new year before I do because of the difference in time.

Well Keri and Heather have been invited by Sarah to attend a new years eve party at U of L. Keri told me that if they got there and it wasn't what they expected they'd leave. I told Keri to be extremely careful because they have all sorts of drinks that don't taste spiked but they are. I really wish she'd just go out to courtneys and stay like she originally planned.
I keep thinking of her friend Jamie who was date raped a while back and I shudder to think of something like that happening to keri or Heather or any girl - that is horrible. but Keri has a level head and she won't do anything that she doesn't want to - course if Heather's mom says she can't go - then Keri will go on over to Courtneys like last year. I asked her if she wanted to have some of her friends over tomorrow night for a party and she said "no".
