yes, I thought it should be on Dutch TV pretty soon. I need to tell my friend who´s living in Holland! I still doubt that it will ever be shown on the free channels in Germany...

Cool beans - I'm so glad for you. I've got it out these past few nights and am finding more and more things I missed during the first time watching and even the 2nd time. It makes all the difference in the world when you can sit quitely without interuptions and watch something.

This is the second time ITW will be aired here in Sweden. :D :D

I was up to 3 a.m. watching it Saturday night and had to get up at 7 but it was worth falling asleep with it. I even recognized some I missed the first couple of times - though this is the first movie I've seen them in a long time.

wow ,you lucky girl :D wel yesterday was the last episode ,and i just LOVED ITW
i had a migraine from crying ,hihihiih
and could scream of feeling for the Voices Tha Carrie ,when he was singing to creator and than cutt of his hair
ooh still feel sad when that happend
and ofcourse Wounded Knee ,i knew it was gonna come so was partly prepaired ,but still kept crying
it's a wonder that i still could see through my tears ,cause id dint' stop until the episode was over ,the moment that Loved b B. and Robert W. were both telling the next generation of family to tell the story of their ancestors
was lovely bnut also stil;l crying of W.K.

I rewatched it again this past weekend and week and I almost started crying with Voices came to the res where Red Lance was...their reunion brought tears to my eyes. There are some scenes that I cannot watch well.

I´ve watched it so many times and it still can make me cry ... especially Wounded Knee makes me cry ... but that´s because it´s making me so angry every time ... not only in ITW but in general ... they showed documentary about WK a few weeks ago - Idril watched it as well - it wasn´t really a good documentary, but they had a moment Native American people praying at the common grave (the chief was singing) and it touched me so deep inside that I started crying - it´s really sad what happened there. But it was just the end of a loooooooooooooooong and bloody road for the Native people ... there is nothing we can do about it, because it´s history, but we should always remember and never let it happen again. Let´s make a better!

So true - and what was the most heart wrenching besides wonded knee was the Ghoast Dance and the killing that went on. Also from what I gathered I truly believe there were those in the army who did not want the killings and even believed that the Indian's wanted peace but when you have "hot heads" like there were back then - and that one shriveled up guy (Royer) I believe - I was hoping someone would shoot him. He instigated the Ghoast Dance killings by lying to the army...yes something like that should never happen again and I pray it never does.

What's even sadder is those who go on making them. I will admit it's difficult for me to what some scenes in ITW because it's like shooting pains in my heart - like I can feel what they went through. The first time I watched it was when it was on TV and it hurt but try sitting back in your quite bedroom - no lights - just the candel glow and watching it...with ear phones on your portible DVD player. Does this sound strange - I mean it's like I can feel each shot...

no, it doesn't sound strange. I know, how it feels. (allthough I don't make that experience with every movie but with every letter I add to my book. I've never been shot, but strangely I know how it feels. :? At least I think I do.)

i have the smae feleinsg with this movie
all of my familymemebrs watched thsi movie and felt nothing ,they were even borred and i was LIke: How can you eb borred of this story ,thsi movie !!!
ooh i couldnt; udnerstand ,i was crying so long and hard of the last episode that i got a migraine that lasted 3 days !!! ,3 days !!!
i don't have migraines often ,but i was crying even when i didnt'have anymore tears to cry ,still i was hurting inside ,and jsut kept crying without tears ,so that made the preasure in my head building and wel the migraine was the outcome of it
wel all i can say is PERFECT acting for all of the lead roles !!! and a lot of the other roles as wel ,but the leads are the ones you look mroe closely the first time
i ahve to say all the chiildren ,the native children are great performers !!!
