About Tibia:
1) Who are you?
I'm Meesterlijk, a lvl 19 knight living in the wonderfull city of thais.
2) How and what have you heard of the Tribe?
I heard of the Tribe from bas, Hugh Black's brother, he told me the Tribe was a good guild with nice people who had real knowledge of tibia.
3) Why do you want to join the Tribe and not some other guild?
Because i heard great things of the Tribe, and I heard there are some nice and honest people in this guild, wich is hard to find nowadays.
4) Why should we recruit you, what can we expect from you?
If you would recruit me, you could expect me to be a hard working player, who likes to help others, and learn by doing it.
5) What do you expect from us?
I expect to learn a lot of things about tibia, and people who help and support eachother. Then i would be a happy tibia player ;)
About your reallife:
1) How old are you?
I'm 18 years old
2) Where are you from?
From the wonderfull city of Amsterdam

In response to Mennorin's comment about the size of my application.
My name is Kevin, I'm from Amsterdam and i study commercial economics.
In my free time, i enjoy playing tibia. I was introduced to tibia by a friend. Played it about 2 years ago, but somehow my playing time reduced and eventually I stopped playing.
Two weeks ago Hugh Black's brother asked me to start a new char on the famous world of antica.
I created a new char, and the fun has returned. Now I play tibia at least 2/3 hours each day. Training and levelling my way up.
But still there is something I miss.
The fun of doing things together, helping other people, and learning from others. These are the things I would like to find in this guild.
My RPG story:
A long time ago, there was a knight.
Full of confidence the knight entered a world with powerfull sorcerers
wealthy druids, dangerous palladins, and lots of creapy monsters.
Not sure he would survive in this cruel world the knight decided to train and train and train. Eventually the knight gained enough confidence to go out by himself and maybe kill a monster or two.
The knight quickly gathered some and gear and headed out.
Thats when the tiny knight noticed he was not good enough, running away from wolves he tripped over a small tree branch.
The knight fell, and then the wolves came.
Not one but four or five of them. The knight got scared but decided to be though and go down fighting. While healing himself he discovered the end was nearby. His legs couldn't hold him anymore.
He collapsed with only one thing in his mind.
12/12 skills are not good enough ;)

Hello Meesterlijk,
I think you made a good effort, but i think you can do better. We are a guild that likes and encourages RPg and a free minded and free thinking people.
What would make you special to us? What can we expect from you? Will you stay in this guild forever?
MAybe take a look at other applications aswell, and answer my questions carefully.

I'm an active player who likes to play alot, I also like to help people with different things.
What can we expect from you?
U can expect me to help the Tribe wherever possible. Like food gathering and helping others when they are in need
Will you stay in this guild forever?
Since I know some people in this guild, and everybody is friendly i would like to stay is this guild forever.

I suggest you change your tone of voice to our more senior members.
With an attitude like that you will strongly diminish your chances of entering this guild.
Either you want to join or not.
It's up to you how much effort you are willing to put in.
So you either respect Moonie's request for a little extra information in the form of a story on your adventures. Or you decide you don't want to join.
It's not up to us, its actually up to YOU.

I would like to apology to Moonie, my comment was not met to be that way. I guess i had something to do with dissapointment. I find it rather hard to write a good story. But since i would really like to join this guild I'm going to try it again

It shows something when a person is able to reflect and say sorry for an error. Not everyone does that and infact many will allow themselves a victory over others justifying themselves with a malevolent view of their world being right.
It is such you showed a great possitive ability and character. I am sure it has not gone un-noticed and write it here for you to know it hasn't and take heart.
Just let your imagination fly. Give it some time if you like; build on an idea over a day or so and have a bash at putting it down.
I find using Microsoft Word not so stressful than trying to write down instantly on a forum (it helps also with spelling that relieves a personal stress bug and gives you room to manouver).
Perhaps use your favourate stories and their styles to bounce off.
You are amoungst friends here and we will gladly participate with you if you try. That's all we ask.
Perhaps look at my post in application. Note I copied the questions wanted (in Microsoft word eventually) so I could quickly refer to them and make sure I answered them.
Furthermore, just go with the heart. Don't think I will push you away if English is not your first language and you can not find the words to express. That comes in time and all I know in dutch is 'hup hup Holland', bear that in mind - you know far more than some in languages so don't be afraid of the judgemental; they are buffoons. Personally I am amazed at people's abilities here and I assure you these people are not buffoons (well one, and I am writing so you know who it is already :) ) in this guild, they will support you and see the good aspect to come out of a little trying time, as life does. There are no judgements here :)
Again well done for showing a solidly positive character and it has not gone unoticed.

It’s dark and lonely in the cave, in the corner there’s a knight.
It is the young knight Meesterlijk,
the slow burning fire reflects shadows on the wall.
The knight is sweating and rapidly slashing his Gianstsword through the air. There are multiple skeletons walking towards him, but the knight focussus on one thing only. A slimey beholder is desperately running away and is trying to hit the knight from distance.
But them he remembered his big brother Juppiter saying: “a knight must never be affraid, even in though times allways rely on the shielding skills I thought you”.
With this in mind, and his shining knight armor on his body the knight moves forward to make some devestating hits. From time to time healing himself with some helpfull magic he learned from a wise person in Thais.
As the knight makes the final hit the skeletons mysteriously dissapear. Quickly the knight runs to the slimy corps and finds a fresh beholder shield. In that moment of joy things suddenly changed.
While looking at his nice loot the knight did not notice a dangerous demon skeleton walking round the corner. In a couple of seconds the knight was heavily injured and bleeding to death. With no other option the knight decided to run. He could see the stairs on the other end of the cave. He ran as fast as he could but the demon skeleton was catching up.
It was at this moment the knight realised there was no chance of making it out of the cave alive. He was struggling and on the verge of dieing, out of nothing an experienced sorcerer arrived. It was him who saved the knights live by healing his starved and bloody body. T
he knight thanked the sorcerer and they decided to stick together.
And after surviving this terrible attack the knight realised a person is nothing without the help of friends.
I want to thank all guys for helping me out.

I think you should be happy with your story.
It's a good little story with a nice moral. I can feel your thinking through it.
Not to worry about the english, or if you are not used to writing (especially stories in english). As a matter of fact after a conversation with you I learnt it was your first story ever written! A good start, a step after a step will take you many miles.
Also I would highlight: especially to circumvent the fear that holds people back, and to stride over aspects ofd human nature that can twist people and put them (and others around them) down
I wish you good fortune, keep on writing, And am impressed with the insights you have demonstrated. :)

Thank you, Meesterlijk, for both your apology and your story. The story has helped me get to know you better, which is all I needed and your apology has shown me that you have good character.

Congratulations. You have passed our selection.
Your first task will be to find your ways on the internal boards. Read about all the different ranks, read the instructions and sticky's and most importantly; show yourself on the boards! Not only now, but regularly in the future...it will be much appreciated (such as more stories from your side)
