We had the great honour to ask the Fluteesemble LYNX (Lynx means Fox in greek, Info from Red.) a few questions:
GJRP: You are not very wellknown in Germany, so I would be happy if you could tell us a little bit about yourselfs.
LYNX: Names: Ritsuko Kori, Mami Sato, Tomoko Koike, Maiko Matsuzaki.
Our Name comes from a Manga, "Banana Fish" and the Main Character there is called Ash Lynx. We made up our minds at this time, that Ash Lynx is the best, and he was our Favourite. Due to that, our Name, LYNX, was chosen.
GJRP: What do you think about Germany?
LYNX: We are the fourth time in Germany and like it very much. The Germans are very nice. We also like, that the Religion in Germany is so highly educatet there.
GJRP: Do you prefer to perform in Japan or in Germany?
LYNX: Hard to tell, it looked for us like the Germans would enjoy the Performance more and watch more.
GJRP: Did you also was seeing something which you didn´t liked?
LYNX: The Germans aren´t so serious about beeing right in time. That is very important in Japan, and also the Germans are comfortable-minded.
GJRP: What did you already see from Germany?
LYNX: We went, for example, into a Concentrationcamp (Sachsenhausen, Info from Red.) and looked around there. We also was at a Middleagefestival. It was beautiful like an Opera.
GJRP: Which kind of Music do you like personally?
Ritsuko Kori: I like Classic, Bach and Rock very much.
Mami Sato: I like Operamusic and Tenorvocalists.
Tomoko Koike: Ballet and esthetic Music is what I like.
Maiko Matsuzaki: I also like Classic very much, but due to the Music of my Brother, I also like Hardrock like Skit-ro, for example.
LYNX: We prefer outlandisch Music. We hate Japanese Pop.
GJRP: Where do you live now?
LYNX: We live all in Tokyo.
GRJP: What are you doing in your private life?
LYNX: Our "normal life" is very beautiful and not stressful. Only the last 4 days here in Germany were stressful. It was for us like a "Trainingcamp".
