Nach neusten Infos soll die erste Single am 05.09 erscheinen.
Es wird nicht, wie zuerst angegeben, Killing Loneliness sein, sondern Wings of a Butterfly respektive Rip out the Wings of a Butterfly (Uneinigkeiten bei Nennung des Titels).
Hmm wenn ich mich recht erinnere soll Dark Lights (bisheriger Titel des Albums) am 26.09. rauskommen.
Unter heartagram.com kann man dann eine special edition kaufe, die 2 Bonustracks, lyrics und special artwork beinhalten wird, kaufen.
(heartagram.com hatte eine Aktion ins Leben gerufen, durch welche man ein Teil des Albums sein konnte, wenn man ein Foto hingeschickt hat.)

Sonja meinte, ich sollte mein Tattoo auch einschicken, aber ich finde das mega-hässlich, weil der bescheuerte Tättowierer, es versaut hat.
Es sieht nicht nach einem Heartgram aus, sondern eher wie eine Schere.
Ich habs nicht hingeschickt.
Schade, dass die das Release-Datum für die erste Single in den September verschoben haben.
Ich hoffe mal, dass man die in München auf dem Konzi schon kaufen kann.

The Greek HIM fanclub DarkSecret Club did an exclusive new interview with Ville Valo for new Greek issue of an international music magazine. Ville talks for more than 25 minutes on the new album, taking us through its music on a special studio report, track by track and giving new revealing information on the release, videos and next moves of upcoming months.
Most important news coming out:
- HIM will release “Rip Out The Wings of A Butterfly” as their first international single late August/ early September.
- The band has already shot a new video for “..Wings of A Butterfly” which now is in the process of editing.
- Director of the new video is Meiert Avis , from Ireland currently living in L.A. and the result looks like an old movie, reminding of U2’s "With Or Without You" (also of Meiert Avis). For more information on Meiert Avis please see below*.
- Ville promises a unique and extended European tour (“…we will practically visit almost every country in Europe…”- including Greece, early next year).
- Ville decribes the artwork of Dark Light as something really different from what they’ve done so far, although the heartagram will appear on it again. Artwork is still not finished and Valo is very involved in its creation and ideas.
- Pictures by Ross Halfin are not the new HIM promo pictures, but part of them will be kept for magazine promotion, a merchandise company ( t-shirts) and an upcoming HIM calendar.
- Kerrang tracklist contains all accurate new track titles but not in the given order which still has not been decided.
- Valo jokes about Dark Light title saying it has been decided..trying to avoid breaking the “contrast-balance” tradition in HIM albums and so that it can stand on its own as something simple.
- New album will be widely distributed in South America, Australia and -as expected- in the United States.
*Meiert Avis is a well known Hollywood director, working on music videos (including U2’s "Where the Streets Have No Name", Seal’s “Walk On By”, New Found Glory in "Failure's Not Flattering”, Avril Lavignes’ “Happy Ending”, Matchbox 20 in "Unwell” and even Jennifer Lopez in "Baby I Love You” ) and anthologies of U2, Bruce Springdsteen (Video Anthology 1978-2000) while his filmography includes the 1989 horror drama “Far From Home” starring Drew Barrimore and new (2005) film “Undiscovered”(previously titled “Wannabe”) starring Kip Pardue, Ashlee Simpson , Carrie Fisher and Perrey Reeves, set in the world of up-and-coming artists, tells the story of an aspiring model who falls in love with a struggling musician (see link for production stills)
Ville talks about symbolism, lyrics, Tim Palmer, L.A., nostalgia, innovations in HIM music, target groups and many more, followed by a detailed analysis of each of the "Dark Light" tracks. Dann kann man dem neuen Video ja freudig entgegenblicken, obwohl ich seine Inspiration zu dem Song etwas gruselig/grausam fand, daher hoffe ich, dass das nicht Grundlage des Videos ist.
Ferner hoffe ich, dass ich entweder da bin oder sie viiiieeeellleee Gigs in Finnland spielen. *seufz* Ich liebe Konzerte, eigentlich ist es das schönste...
Naja, es hört sich aber so an, als ob sie eine ganzeZeit lang beschäftigt sein werden, bei den neuen Release-Ländern...

Nun ja, Viiki, die ja mit Silke in Kontakt steht, meinte, dass sie gerade IRGENDETWAS mit Bam drehen. Das heit aber noch lange nicht, dass das das Video ist. In Helsinki ist er auch dauernd mit ner Kamera in der Hand um HIM herumgerannt.

Wenn ich richtig gsehen hab, hat Bambi auch bei Ruisrock gefilmt. Oder es war irgeind Typ, der wie Bam aussieht (gosh der arme tut mir leid!! O_O)

Ich mag das WOAB Cover, das Dark Light dagegen find ich scheisse.
hier kann man in DL reinhören. Was ich gehört hab, ist teilweise mehr als schrecklich und ich beiß mir in Arsch, dass ich das Album bestellt hab. Ein hoch auf Ebay, wenn es dann da ist.
