Î have learned a bit swedish for quite a while and I was up there three times. I think we have no active swedes here, but if you know someone from there I could write emails or so to train that language plese tell me...

Will you put some basically terms and expressions here please?
You know, I'm a bit into Norsk, and Hrist and Harley are from Norway and it would be very interesting to compair those tongues.

Some generally terms, like "My name is...", "i like...", greetings, colors, ...

När du föreställer dig, säger du "Jag heter ..." och jag tror man kan också säger "Mitt namn är ..." men det låter lite formellt.
Typiska hälsningar är "Hej!" eller "Hejsan", ungdomar använder till och med "Tjena!" eller "Tja!". Den typiska avskedsphrasen är "Hejdå"
Färger är till exempel "röd" "grön" "blå" "gul" "vit" "svart" "brun" etc.
Några andra exempel från vardagslivet: "Hur mycket kostar det?" (How much is it), "Finns det en bokhandel i närheten?" (is there a bookstore around?", "Jag vet/förstår inte" (i don't know/understand), "Jag tycker om..." (I like...)
"Jag vill knulla med dig" (hahahahahaha)
Hm, well I am not good in finding special every day phrases...
Hope this did help a bit.

I think Swedish is too..ehm...kind, to femenine (prob wrong spelled, but its kinda femaleish :) ).
Men speaking swedish sounds rather gay sometimes...no offense :twisted:

hm, I don't have the feeling that swedish sounds gay, anyway I also don't know how gay norwegians sound.
I don't like the sound of småländsk but for the rest the language sounds nice in my ear.
