    Dragoness
Ok,...do I have to write that stuff you all might know already again...? Well, maybe...because new ones might join in.

To make it short: I'm 19 years old and a dreamer because I want to escape the cold and hard reality of life sometimes. What works best for supporting that is music, I think. Such as Viking metal, black metal, folk metal, some death metal...sometimes some doom (but I still have to learn a lot about that)...and some other metal-varieties too.
I'm playing the bass in two of the Lordprotector's bands.

I LOVE the nature (and would do everything to protect it), literature, art, myths (especially the Norse mythology), medieval castles, DRAGOOONS and of course : METAL! (Oh...and I'm chocolate-addicted)

Well, now you all might have read enough about me, but if there are still any questions left, just feel free to ask.

To make it short: I totally agree on the daydreaming/harsh reality/music thing. I'm the same. :)
Nature and art are amazing. (When combined, as well. ;))
Mythology. \m/ (Also nice when combined with art. :P)
There's a mediaeval castle in our town. It's a museum nowadays, where I happen to guide occasionally. You should come here and I'll show you around. ;)
(I'm a huge chocolate addict.)

Heh heh, I don't blame him, she's awesome.

Seriously though, you're awesome, Dragoness. You have a great taste in music (duh), you play several instruments, you're multi-lingual, you seem to be quite broad-minded, you like precious things, which reflects your character, etc, and you're awfully cordial. You rule.

    *feels über gay*

    Downtrodden - 22.11.2004, 16:23

    Excellent. =)

By the way, I took a picture of that castle I told you about, yesterday:

    Re: Dragoness

    Dragoness - 22.11.2004, 21:34

Wow, it's beautiful!!! Thanks for posting that pic! I LOVE castles! I hope to see it one day!
Btw: Do you know when it was built?

    Re: Dragoness

    Downtrodden - 22.11.2004, 22:52

Well, it originates from the Romanesque era (11. - 13. cent.), for which speaks its significant construction. The document from 1202 described the castle as very firm (castrum firmissimum from Lonca). It was almost totally demolished in the earthquake in 1511, though, but it was restored by the "that-time"'s bishop. Oh, and there once stood a mighty square tower in the castle's courtyard, which ground plan's sizes are restored.

P.S. The wall you can see, is a part of the defense wall that surrounded the town as a protection from the intruders (Turks) and what not.

    Re: Dragoness

    Dragoness - 22.11.2004, 23:40

Thanks for the detailed information! :D To me, the Romanesque era is one of the most fascinating ones! Btw: I didn't know that there were earthquakes in this area. Yeah, it looks very firm indeed. Wow..hehe, lots of fairy tales and stories come to my mind when I look at that pic! *starts dreaming*
