Nicole's story:
A day with Limahl in London
I really would like to spend my birthday, 3rd May with Limahl in London.
It would go like this:
My favourite place in London is 'Regents Park' and I would like to meet him at London Zoo.
To get to know each other better, I would, first of all, suggest a walk through the park. After this, we could go to the waxworks at Marylebone. Limahl might tell me about all the sights of London, e. g. Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Buckingham Palace, Museum of Albert and Victoria, Trafalgar Square. But he also has to tell me where to get all the groovy clothes and shoes, what his favourite shops in London were and where he had his hair cut.
When our stomachs are rumbling suddenly, we could go to Soho for a meal. I could then try and find out about his past and his plans for the future.
I really would like Limahl to show me how and where the story of his career with 'Kajagoogoo' had started. Where the nightclub 'The Embassy Club' is and where Limahl had worked as a waiter and barkeeper. And where had all the records he had done been recorded? How did he escape from the many fans who chased him through London? This trip back to the 80s again would be definitely groovy.
We could take a little breather at the 'Princess Diana Fountain" in Hyde Park. Maybe with a little snack?!
However, London by night with Limahl would be much more exciting! To visit cosy pubs or bars with him. Have one or two cocktails together?! Or maybe to visit one of the many musicals, such as 'The Lion King', 'Mamma Mia', 'Joseph' or 'We will rock you'.
Then it would be the time to go. I would say goodbye to him, to thank him for this wonderful day and go back to the hotel lonely with all these ravishingly beautiful memories in my heart, without my sunshine. Unless the hotel where I stayed at was nearby and that Limahl insisted on coming along with me!
