plaggi hat auf depechemode.de geschrieben, dass die besagte DVD am 2. februar kommen soll. das kann ich allerdings nicht bestätigen. als das filmteam bei mir war, sprach man von frühestens ende februar...ehrlich ? ich bereue es jetzt schon, mich auf dieser veröffentlichung verewigen zu lassen :?

jeremy, my co director, and i are working on doing a book about russian depeche mode fans as they have a very interesting story regarding the end of communism , and the effect of depeche mode here is an article jeremy wrote about the documentary where he also talks about russia

i was telling him about you and your friends, the photos you showed me and so on and we were wondering if we could do a section of the book on former east german fans we would like to include some photos so we would also be contacting the guy who took the photos at the concert in east germany as well and do some longer interviews with you and your friends and others who were fans in east germany this is not something which can be hurried, the book would not come out for about a year but we have got a fantastic publisher in england who has produced some beautiful art books of a very high standard as we want the book to be something people will really find beautiful and want to treasure we think this is something which is important culturally and not just of interest to depeche mode fans what do you think? nick abrahams

mute have yet to confirm a release date but yes, the working title is 'the posters came from the walls', and that is pretty likely to be the final title. i will update you as soon as i know anything more.
sadly it doesnt seem that the interview i did with you will make it onto the dvd. it turned out, due to technical reasons, they could only fit a tiny bit of footage onto the dvd.
but i do very much want to include the interview and photos in the book i am doing with jeremy which will be all about the experience of depeche mode fans in the former communist countries. it should be a fantastic book.
