So, ein bissel mehr Elan im Forum, bitte! Hier dürfen jetzt alle mal ihre Lieblingsbands vorstellen bzw nennen, und vielleicht habt ihr auch nen Link, wo man mal reinhören kann oder so...
Hier wäre mal EINE Vorstellung, die anderen folgen noch, wenn HIER ENDLICH MAL JEMAND ANDERES was reingeschrieben hat...
Rise Against
...hab keine Lust, selbst was zu schreiben, also hier einfach mal die FAQ vonner Homepage:

1. Do you know Fat Mike?
Yes, we’ve met Fat Mike. We had to go through seven security clearances before we got the green light but we met him back in the summer of 2000.

Oh, hell yeah! We love eating fast food all the time and sleeping in our van while we drive all night. We just do that so we can “relate” to the common people.
5. Do you work when you aren’t on tour?
Not anymore. Rise Against is doing well enough for all of us not to work while we’re home (which isn’t very often).
6. Does Geffen pay for your hotels/van/bus/merch/etc?
No. Everything you see with us on tour is paid for by us.
7. Is Tobias Jeg really part animal?
Indeed. Tobias Jeg, at our best estimation, is at least 60% animal. Rrrr!!!
8. What is the video for Heaven Knows about?
It tells of a money exchange gone wrong. It’s never really conveyed what the exact circumstances are, but it is a deal gone bad. Tim then tries to cover up the situation and runs into the city, disappearing. The original edit of the video made a bit more sense, but was modified so it could be aired on commercial television.
9. Is The Unraveling your first CD?
Yes, The Unraveling is the first Rise Against full length. It came out April of 2001.
10. What happened to Mr. Precision?
Mr. Precision and the rest of Rise Against we’re going in opposite directions. In the fall of 2001, it was mutually agreed that it would be best if he weren’t in the band anymore. Dan’s new band, Breaking the Silence, is on Hopeless Records.
11. Can I work for you guys?
We appreciate the offer, but if we ever need help, we’ll probably just pick one of our friends from home.
12. Can you hook me up with a job with a different band?
We wish we could help, but…no.
13. Do you like George Bush?

14. Where did the name Rise Against come from?
It was the idea of our friend Tony T., who is now the drummer for Shai Hulud.
15. How come you guys don’t sell The Killing Tree CD?
Because this isn’t a TKT tour!

No, we broke up in 1999 and we’re leaving it in the 90’s

Skaeinflüsse? davon hab ich noch gar nix mitgekriegt...von denen hab ich übrigens auch irgendwo einen live-mitschnitt...irgendwo halt...^^

Wenn ich dit hier reinschreibe, dann werd ich geluencht...is ja nun mal Tiefenrausch. Aber nur im Ska Genre.
Ich haett auch noch The Dead Kennedys im Angebot. Und das is ja mal eindeutig Punk.
Aber die beste band der welt ist natuerlich Cuidado, und Skarabaeus gehoert auch dazu. (Ich muss ja ein bisschen eigenwerbung machen, ne^^)

hey, also zumindest wir hier leben in sowas wie ner demokratie, da darf jeder seine meinung sagen und wenns auch tiefenrausch is....ich überles das dann einfach^^
jap, skarabäus sind toll, die haben übrigens hörproben auf ihrer hp, die sind schonmal sehr schön!

Subway to Sally ist auch sehr geil! Kommen aus Potsdam und unser Produzent ging mit dem Gitarristen zur Schule ;) . Voll lustig :lol: .
