OK guys I've had some input about the HA battles times and I've drawn up a chart to show where the battle times fall in different time zones...
This chart is based on what I've been told and its confusing because of using EST as a reference point rather than GMT but I think its correct right now. However I'm not sure what happens when we go back to daylight saving time in the northern hemisphere.
I've included Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Sydney) in the table as right now NSW in Aus is on daylight saving time. And I've included China Time (which doesn't follow daylight saving).
Based on this I'd suggest that the best harbour to target for us on a weekday would be Tokyo (with New York as a 2nd choice). With Hamburg or London as options for battles on weekends or on holidays.
We might get some of the HMAS guys helping us out if we went for a Tokyo or London battle but unlikely at the other times I'd suggest.

Chart is helpful. I could make most any Fleetwar or Harbor assault. I have alot of control over my work schedule, and could take the time off if needed, as long as there is a few days given before hand.

Singapore is the same time zone as China ie GMT+0800 with no daylight saving time.
