    Re: In English

    Konrad - 12.11.2006, 14:52

ha i have no idea which cambridge certificate it is but i.m going to write it on several days...mmmh and some tests are like our french tests during the abitur...naja i want to get it and i'll get it hehe :D

    Re: In English

    A7ndt H3lg3 - 12.11.2006, 18:27

The exam takes places on three days an it contains 5 papers. (Probaly) on the first day you will have your "Speaking-part". On the second you will have "Listening". On the last day you will take your exam in "Use of English", "Reading" and "Writting". Each part will take 60-90 minutes.

In the case you succeed (I am sure you will), you have to wait for about 3 or 4 months, until you gett the certificate

    Re: In English

    lara - 12.11.2006, 21:09

And what can I do with this exam? It might be useful - but for what, for example?

    Re: In English

    christian - 13.11.2006, 16:32

You need a cambridge exam to apply for some universities in england and some other places. in most parts of the usa and canada they require the "toefl"-test, which is much easier to get then the cabridge certificate. but i think it also sounds pretty sweet to be able to say that you wrote the cambridge exam

    Re: In English

    A7ndt H3lg3 - 06.02.2007, 17:06

Eer, actually everthing is in butter, but the start of the math-mainlesson has gone a bit into the trousers.
Mrs. M. is missing since last middleday - she gives in forwards to be ill, but I think she makes blue.

@Lara and Ronja: You are on the wrong steamer, if you think we do the dirty work for you, you are two left dogs

    Re: In English

    christian - 06.02.2007, 17:39

Arndt! Your English really lets to wish over! I think you schouln'd do so glow holy.

I think im standin' in the forest...

    I think my pig whistles...

YOU all are heavy on the Woodway...you are just a bad example...
And if you do it again, you will e delievered...

    Re: In English

    Ronja - 07.02.2007, 10:03

what kind of math mainlesson block do u have right now? i´ve geometry.

    Re: In English

    christian - 07.02.2007, 17:34

We've got mathematical functions. Right now we're doing the linear regression equasion like y=mx+b.
But we're supposed to do vectors this mainlesson block as well... Mr Schnorr's been sick for 2 days now, I don't know, if we'll get to do the vectors this time...

    Re: In English

    Konrad - 07.02.2007, 20:57

.....but just christian understands what mr schnorr wants from us

    (only joking)

anyway if youve understood math once its alright!! i like it[/i]

    Re: In English

    Ronja - 08.02.2007, 04:49

i did this y=mx+b last semester, i got it, but i don´t really like it. do u gus had imaginary numbers? we started, but i´ve no idea what my teacher is talking about.

    Re: In English

    lara - 08.02.2007, 15:58

We do trigonometry here and i really dont understand it!
I tried to change my maths level (ordinary intead of higher level) but the teacher said I shall keep trying and then I would understand it.
    NO WAY!
And tomorrow we`ll probably write a test...

    Re: In English

    Konrad - 08.02.2007, 19:57

haha its quite intersting we did totay such crap stuff but ididnt understand it so i cant explain :D
    something with circles and ...anyway

    Re: In English

    lara - 15.02.2007, 22:23

howerver, I know for sure now that I`ve no talent for maths at all: I got 6% in the test, no joke!! :P

    Re: In English

    Ronja - 16.02.2007, 00:13

ha, i got 100 % in mein last test, but it was one of the easiest mathtests i ever took. my math teather is pritty cool, he always gives so easy tests :)

    Re: In English

    Konrad - 19.02.2007, 18:53

great you took 100 % mmh i think its not so good if you just take easy tests you wont learn so much....BUT i dont want to ake the math test tomorrow its absolutely confusing and crap.....

    Re: In English

    christian - 19.02.2007, 19:25

First of all, math is logical, that makes the whole thing a lot easier!
Also you can use the Formula sheet so you won't get is trouble because you forgot the formulas. But I guess we'll see tomorrow...

If you wanna see something fucking amazin check out this link about what you can do with Origami and how modern Origami works:
    http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/robert_lang_folds_way_new_origami.html

If you wanna see amazing shit, just like this talk by Brian Greene on string theory and the many dimensions there are accordingly browse around that site: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/brian_greene_on_string_theory.html

Ted's just an amazing platform for new and unique ideas that are developed by the people that are able to change the world with a much greater impact then maybe politics...

Edit: The last video on string theory is by the way something that when I viewed it gave me the possibility to think dofferently on religion and God. To me it kinda created an image in my head of the extra dimensions giving the world room for connecting events without us beeing able to directly sense them but just see the consequences or there influences on the world experienced by us and our senses. I hope that makes any sense to you guys... just wanted to throw that out there...
