    Trivium - The Crusade
    Hossa!

This is the first album I have EVER given a zero. And this zero goes to Triviums The Crusade not because of the music, but because it's the biggest rip-off-Metallica album that has ever been produced.

There are many bands in this world that work there ASSES off by creating something original and interesting and get very far with it, and completely deserve it no matter if fans hate it or don't hate it. Bands like Pantera or Slayer were extremely original for their time and had every right to get the fame that they worked for. Trivium started as a metalcore band with members who don't even like much of the metalcore material. Hell, when you see that Matt Heafy was found because he was playing Offspring song, and he also claims to be a huge ass Black Metal fan (Terrorizer magazine quizzed him on his knowledge of black metal and he was superb), just how much do you think he, or the rest of the band members, take this music for their liking? It strikes me that Trivium was a business band from day one, not some band that was trying to create some atmosphere of music that was distinctive from many other bands. Other bands like Behemoth or Emperor evolved but still kept their originality. Trivium now has evolved from their metalcore era and has evolved into Metallica.

Music-wise, you can make a safe bet that any metalhead that has never heard Metallica would say that this album is really amazing because of how bloody technical it is, which shows the potential that Matt Heafy, Paolo Gregoletto, Corey Beaulieu and Travis Smith. However, when the fuck have you ever heard of a metalhead that hasn't heard Metallica? Songs like Anthem have the exact same chanting type concept going on just like master of the puppets does when they scream "MASTER... MASTER!!”

Then Mat Heafy has "evolved" (more like juristically changed) his voice to sound exactly like James Hetfield. That is probably the most obvious thing that anyone can tell in this album and by far, the biggest evidence of Trivium selling beyond the max.

I pray that the time The Crusade will finally go on shelves in stores, people will start to realize how much Trivium sounds like a rip-off to Metallica. Hell, I think it's fair to say that The Crusade has pushed the envelope in completely re-making a band.

Don't support this band, and don't by The Crusade.

    *word* :lol

sollte ich mir mal reinziehen... :denk

Eigene Meinung bilden sag ich! :motz
