I am so glad you aprove of us. :D We are taking good care of her, as if she was our own. I think it will be so hard when she goes home. I will miss her. I think she is adjusting well, I know it is hard to be so far away from home for so long.
Winter is coming soon. It might snow this week. :o I am not sure she is going to like the cold, she is a lot like me, if it is cold and dark out we want to stay in bed :D , but she has to go to school and I have to go to work :( But it is so pretty when the snow is on the trees. We will have to send pictures. And with winter comes Christmas my favorite time of year :P

it was one of my best times ever!
Just to short.
The people, country, everything is very different to germany. I really like it ....and still miss it.
The first reason i was in Kansas City was for 3 days of Drag Racing. We met so many nice guys over there and had 5 days full of fun. Perfect.
I am a Ford Lightning (F150 Pick up truck) enthusiast and it was time to meet up with my american Lightning family.
But i also love shopping like Kim and you :lol:
I bought many parts for my truck and had 2 big suitcases to bring back to germany after 5 days...
The shopping malls in the USA are very impressive and contain a lot of nice shops. One day we have been in the Independence Shopping Mall an bought a lot of Abercrombie and Hollister clothes.
You can´t get this brands in germany....just on ebay 8)

I am glad you had a good time here in the state. Too bad you could not come and visit :cry:
Kim, I think, is also impressed with our malls and shopping here. You will have to ask her how her last weekend went. We first went to Chicago and stayed with James' brother, he lives downtown. We did some shopping on the famous Magnificent Mile. We didn't even get to half the shops. Then we went to the suburbs to visit my family and stayed the night there. We did some more shopping there at some outlets and shops. I think by the end of the weekend we had worn out Kim. But I think she had a good time.
We got to eat at some of our favorite places that we don't have here in Indiana.
Thank you for setting up this website it is a great tool for communication. I wish I could right more often, but I am so busy most days.
We are good friends with a Ford dealer here and that is where we buy all our cars. Again I am glad you had a good stay.

Sorry for not writing sooner, I have been so busy. Kim is doing well I think. This last weekend we went to Chicago, I think we wore her out with all the shoppng. But it was a good time :D
You and your family are more than welcome to come to the states and visit anytime, there is always a home for you here to stay. Maybe some time we could come and visit you.
It snowed a couple of weeks ago and it is getting colder. We will send some pictures once the first snow fall sticks, it is so pretty.
